This terrific house in Republic with a large deck and grill is a cozy retreat for guests. With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, and new carpeting, this amazing property offers a comfortable stay. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, iron, washing machine and dryer in basement, hair dryer, and downstairs AC, bedding and towels. The bathroom is well-equipped for your needs. It is close to snowmobile and UTV trails, as well as Lake Michigamee and Michigamme River for fishing. Peter's True Value at 174 Evergreen St, is just up the road for gas or any hardware and misc. food supplies. Circle K gas station is 10 miles on the corner of Hwy 95 and Hwy 41. Marquette MI is 37 miles and beautiful Picture Rock is 81m (1.75hrs). Copper Harbor and the sites along the way is 131m (2.5hrs). Porcupine Mtns is about 2hrs. This older home has no doors on the bedrooms. It does not have internet, but there are plenty of DVD's for adults and children. There are two televisions with DVD players. One in the living room and one is upstairs queen room. It is not handicap accessible. The yard is fenced for your dog. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Republic.

Nice place for a short stay! Leaving a 4/5 because the front door in the living room didn't have a functional lock, went to lock the screen door, and found a wasp nest in between the two doors. It's a small town, but having functional door and window locks when staying in a new area is a must for me.

We stayed for 5 days/4 nights. It is a comfy older home, nicely decorated with lots of room. The host thought of pretty much anything you could need while on vacation and quickly responded to all communication. The furniture and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the porch and yard. We were there for a music festival and hope to come back again next year!
