The Main House features 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths with a chef-ready kitchen. Just steps across the yard, the Guest House provides a private retreat with its own queen bed, bath, and kitchen—perfect for grandparents or those in the group who appreciate a little extra quiet.
Family First:
We’ve been hosting families for over 4 years and know that traveling with kids is a workout. We’ve done the heavy lifting for you: Gear Included: Stroller, Pack ‘n Play, and a treasure trove of toys.
The Yard: Fully fenced and ready for play.
Safety Harbor Living: A 7 minute stroll puts you on Main Street for local dining and community events.
Guest Access:
You’ll have exclusive access to the entire property, including both houses and the private backyard.
Other Things to Note:
Celebrations: We welcome small, respectful gatherings (Birthdays, Gender Reveals). Please message us to coordinate!
Location: Perfectly perched between Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Pete.
Proven Quality: As local residents, avid travelers and long time hosts, we pride ourselves on a sparkling clean home and lightning-fast communication.
The house includes a huge driveway that can accommodate up to 8 vehicles. Additional on-street parking is available. You are also free to use the garage if you wish.
A whole-house water softener provides good tasting, soft water throughout.
Some starter coffee pods and welcome snacks will be available on arrival.
A washer & dryer are available, as well as a charcoal grill, one bike and toddler trailer (possibly additional bikes upon request).
The property is immaculately cleaned by professionals before each guest arrives.
A 30 amp RV outlet is available for an additional daily charge. Details available upon request.

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Gecko. We found the property to be just like the description and Michael was very quick to answer any questions I had. Safety Harbor is a delightful small town on Tampa Bay with wonderful shops and restaurants. I would love to visit again.

My family and I love the Blue Gecko; it is our home away from home. The home is always very clean, comfortable, and the hosts are the best. We do not feel spied on or micromanaged. We are allowed to enjoy the home and our stay. When visiting the area, this is the only place we will stay. Thanks Mike and Beth.
