Villa Marin is the perfect alternative for families with children or groups of friends, but also for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway. At Villa Marín, all guests are welcome, whatever their nationality, gender, religion, etc..
Including pets, of course!
Villa Marín is a unique house, located in the surroundings of the city of Granada, in the perfect location to move comfortably to Sierra Nevada, the center of Granada and the beach at the same time.
Accommodation
Relax on the large wooden terrace or sunbathe on one of the hammocks overlooking the Sierra Nevada, take a refreshing swim in the pool during the summer, spend a quiet afternoon in the warmth of the fireplace in winter or prepare a barbecue are some of the many activities that guests can enjoy in Villa Marín.
A large swimming pool, sunbathing area, a spectacular garden, the large barbecue or the outside dining area are some of the great attractions of the house .... But not the only ones!
The house is distributed over two floors and a conditioned basement, and includes a full kitchen. Interior and exterior dining area, three bathrooms, two large living rooms, 5 bedrooms, laundry room and entrance hall. All these spaces have large windows and lots of natural light, and both have heating with air conditioning. In addition, the house has two fireplaces to use in winter. The pool and the exterior of the house have a safe night lighting system. The house has an indoor and an outdoor parking inside the property, as well as the facility to park in the same street.
The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom. In addition the house has a double bedroom, another double with bunk beds and two single bedrooms, which share another bathroom and a toilet. In addition, there are two comfortable double sofa beds in the two living rooms of the house. All bedrooms are equipped with bedding (sheets, pillows and blankets), as well as towels. The bathrooms have shower gel, soap and toilet paper. A children's cot can be provided upon prior request.
In addition, guests will find in Villa Marín everything necessary to make your stay more comfortable, such as dinnerware, kitchenware, towel for the pool or cleaning set in case you need it.

Villa Marin guests can enjoy maximum privacy and excellent service at the same time, while discovering one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
As hosts, we will be present at check-in and check-out, as well as when guests need it. We do not reside in the house, so we will never be in the property unless we are requested to do so.
During your stay, guests will receive welcome bottles of water, as well as a city guide, including recommendations from the hosts to enjoy Granada and its surroundings.
The neighborhood.
Far from the noise and traffic, Villa Marín provides the perfect opportunity to breathe fresh air and enjoy nature, being easily connected at the same time with the life of the city. The town of Otura is less than 5 minutes walking, where guests can find supermarkets, cafes and a small commercial area.
If you wish to practice sport, Santa Clara Golf's golf course and spa and gym are just a short 3-minute drive away, while the tennis and paddle tennis club is a 5-minute walk away.
Villa Marín is very well connected, either by car (10 minutes) or bus (25 minutes), with some of the best known places in Granada, such as the Alhambra, Puerta Real or El Albaicín. The largest shopping center in the province, Parque Nevada, is located 8 km. Thanks to the central location of Villa Marín, skiing in the Sierra or taking a bath on the beaches of Granada is very easy with a short drive.
Other highlights
• Smoking is allowed in the exterior of the house. It is not allowed to throw cigarette butts.
• Pets are welcome provided they have been notified in advance and that they do not alter the state of conservation and cleanliness of the facilities
• loud music or parties are not allowed after 23 h.
• It is not allowed, under any circumstance, that there are more than 12 people in the house at any time of the day
• Please, we ask you to turn off the air conditioning, TV, lights, etc. When they are not in the house .
We want to be sustainable!
• We suggest you supervise the smallest children in the pool area

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at the villa. We don’t move around very much when we are away, so this property and location were ideal. The facilities were perfect for our group, bedrooms, bathrooms, pool and living area. My only suggestion would be to find a way to expand and modernise the kitchen area in some way. The local area is nice and quiet, the walk to the village is about 20 minutes, but you can order Uber for shopping at the supermarket. The scenery is picturesque with views of Sierra Nevada in the backdrop. The owners were there to meet us and available for contact if needed. We all felt totally relaxed during our stay and overwhelmingly enjoyed our vacation. Granada is 20 mins by taxi and the Nevada shopping mall 15 mins.

We had 4 wonderful days in this spacious villa. Well equipped, very clean and the owner was very helpful, when we left the keys inside. It’s nearby Granada, only 15 min by car. You can take a bus too. After the recommendation from our host we had a nice evening with good food at the Meson nueva Otura restaurant. Refreshing and clean pool.

We had a fantastic stay here. The villa was very comfortable for two families of 5 (4 adults and 6 children). We spent most of our time outside, the kitchen leading onto the outdoor dining area, BBQ and pool was an absolute delight.
The pool was very clean for our 11 day stay. There is a pool cleaning machine you can plug in each evening which worked great.
Plenty of space around the pool to relax.
The house itself was very clean and well equipped.
In terms of location the villa is close to the motorway which takes you to Granada in around 20 minutes, the Alhambra was less than 15 minutes, the nearest beach Motril as well. So very well located.
The host was exceptional in her communications and welcomed us on arrival. In advance Maria sent us many recommendations and locations via WhatsApp which really made the most of our stay.
There is a bus stop a few minutes walk away which takes you to the centre of Granada. A couple of times we walked to a local restaurant (Meson Neuva Otura) and had a lovely relaxed meal both times in the outside seating area. It was around a 20 minute walk.
Two supermarkets within a 5 minute drive (Mercado & Lidl). The huge Nevada shopping mall within a 10 minute drive which was appreciated by the teenagers!
We would definitely love to return.
