Lake Darling Resort, Alexandria’s newest luxury family resort offers must-see 4 and 5 bedroom villas coupled with beautiful beaches and sandy shoreline. The spacious villas range from 1,800 to 2,200 square feet, 3.5 or 4 bathrooms, full kitchen and dining rooms, a fireplace, screened porch, private patio and grill, granite counter tops and vanities, and prices families can afford.
The resort offers complimentary paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and lots of yard games. There are 2 private beaches, a private boat launch and free docking for guests. They also have pontoons and fishing boats to rent.
Lake Darling is connected to the 11-lake Alexandria Chain of Lakes with great fishing, swimming and lake life. The property has over 800’ of flat, sandy shoreline. The resort is 300 yards from an entrance to the 55-mile Lakes Area Trail, which is great for walking, biking, running or snowmobiling. It’s also surrounded by golf courses, near the Carlos Creek Winery, minutes from downtown, and has beautiful sunrises. It’s a wonderful spot for friend- and family-getaways.

My family and I had our christmas here and it was the perfect sized cabin for 3 families and was very nice, clean and updated! Very cozy! The pool was nice and warm and the rec area was fun! Would definatly stay here again.

This was our second year at Lake Darling Resort and we are already planning for the next time. The amenities within the unit itself are so amazing there is never a reason to leave. Thank you for your amazing accommodations!
