About this house rental
Welcome to the Marmot! A New-Construction Modern Tiny House on an Acre of Land at the Base of National Forest. Literally walk to the lake, eateries, or the beautiful hike/bike trails to reservoirs, overlooks, and boulder fields. This 500 sf retreat has a quiet bedroom sporting a King bed, an adjoining bath with walk-in shower, washer/dryer and an open bright kitchen, dining and living room area. There's also a covered Patio with a grill to relax on and take in our spectacular starry nights. The Marmot is a perfect quiet retreat for two. Due to the home’s size, no more than three overnight guests, please. There is only one king bed and a third guest would need to bring a cot, blowup or sleep on the loveseat. Please inquire and request set-up before with us if you would like the travel crib provided or kids books/toys to be put out. Please check the pet fee line if bringing a pet so we can pay the cleaner for the extra cleaning time. Thank you!

Get location within walking distance to hikes, and shops in town. Quiet space with beautiful views from the windows. Communication with the host was excellent. Will definitely stay here again!

Accurately described overall, but not ideal for sensitive guests. The Glade plug-in scent was overwhelming — we had to air out the property for hours to clear the fake floral smell. Bed was very comfortable but All bedding (comforter, blanket, pillows, sheets, mattress pad and topper) was microfiber, which trapped heat and made it hard to regulate our temperature during sleep. Unfortunately, that made our stay uncomfortable.
