This unit comes with ample sleeping areas, and we appreciated the two full bathrooms. Kitchen comes pretty well stocked, but unit lacks any extras such as scissors, pen, paper, tape, etc. It was great being on the ocean side of Seawall, so the location was great. We did not get notified of ongoing construction next door until the welcome text was sent out a day or two before our arrival. We felt that was something that should have been disclosed in the original listing. It does keep you from wanting to spend any time out on the balcony during the day, but if you keep the door closed, you can mostly ignore it. The listing also let us to believe that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. There was one washer and one working dryer on our floor during our stay. It costs a total of 3.00 to wash a load. Bring your quarters, because the office located on site refuses to provide any assistance to those staying in this unit. (Yes, refused to trade dollar bills for quarters!)There was large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap in each shower, hand soap in each bathroom, and dish soap and enough dishwasher detergent for two loads in the kitchen. There were 4 towels, 4 washcloths and 2 hand towels in each bathroom. There were 4 beach towels. Beach chairs, umbrella and ice chest would be a great addition to this unit. The air conditioner worked great! There are also ceiling fans and one strong box fan. Could use a detailed cleaning and touch up paint throughout.

Definitely some issues with this property, but in the end, being ON the beach in Galveston is a rare thing and most of the negatives we saw can be overlooked just to be on the beach. 1) the front door had a code lock that had serious issues. We're three functioning adults with this type of lock in our own homes, but we just couldn't get this door unlocked multiple times. It's no fun standing outside your condo having to call the third party support. On the bright side, the support line managed to get us in every time. The downside was we spent way too much time standing outside the condo trying to get in.2) speaking of being locked out, there is also a code to access the complex from the beach, and we were given the wrong code, apparently for the prior month. Other residents gave us the correct code.3) construction noise--yes, we were warned about the high rise being built next door, but the most disruptive noise came from the complex itself, pretty much continuously throughout the day (but not at night).4) speaking of at night... the entire complex fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and the residents had to notify the guard. Other residents said this had happened before.5) parts of the condo were updated, but other parts were the original 70's vibe. Some of the updates were done poorly, like the nice new bathroom mirror installed right on top of the old icky mirror that was still visible. With mismatched lightbulbs above...
