About this house rental
Bring your family to this newly-renovated 5 bedroom home in the quiet countryside. With an open floor plan, it is easy to cook a meal in the fully furnished kitchen, watch a football game on the big screen and visit with the family. The finished out basement adds another fully furnished kitchen, table for 6-10 people, living room, 2 bedrooms and full bath. This home is located 15 minutes from Paint Creek Lake and 30 minutes from Rocky Fork Lake. And within an hour's drive, you can be in Columbus, Dayton, or Cincinnati. No pets allowed. also the property have a basement containing a bedroom with 6 beds.
{The space}
Bedroom 1 is a master bedroom with king size bed and an attached bathroom.
Bedroom 2 & 3 have queen size beds and share a bathroom. There is also a small half bath off the kitchen.
Bedroom 4 is in the basement with a king size bed.
Bedroom 5 is in the basement with 2 double beds.
A full bath with tub/shower combo and washer & dryer is in the basement.
There is a table with 6 chairs, but can be extended with table leaves that are stored under the table top and add 2 additional chairs that are provided.
An additional extension table in the basement seats 6-10 people, again the extra leaves are stored under the table top.
The main floor living room has 2 sofas with recliners and an additional recliner. The basement living room has a sectional couch with 3 recliners.
There is plenty of floor space for the kids to play.
There is a stacked washer/dryer set in the closet off the dining room on the main floor.
A fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, Nespresso machine, coffee maker and cooking utensils. The basement kitchen as well is fully furnished.
There is a stairway inside to the basement. Also an outside entrance.
This house is a perfect place for a couple families to be together yet each family can have their own space and privacy.
Other things to note:
Guests also do not have access to the shop building.
The pond went under renovation. So we now wait on rain water to fill it up. There is no fishing available at the time.

Beautifully appointed home with plenty of space! Two full kitchens and laundries - so it’s perfect for multiple families. Well stocked and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Carole is very responsive and gave us all the information we needed. Highly recommend this quiet cottage by the pond!

We are so glad we chose to stay at this home. It was extremely clean, which is important to us, and the owners had put a great deal of thought and care into implementing welcoming touches--from snack baskets to water bottles to beach towels for the hot tub. We wholeheartedly recommend this spacious, well-equipped home for your family if you are in the area. Also, Carole was delightful and quick to respond to inquiries.

Beautiful home. If you like to cook you will find a Well stocked kitchen. Probably one of the best stocked kitchens we have stayed in. My only wish is that there was a Christmas tree up but we made it work by bringing our own small one. The home was easy to get to and very private. Would for sure stay here again and highly recommend.

We loved this property! My wife and I stayed with two other couples. They bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have 3 bathrooms. The open layout of the kitchen, dining area, and living room made it feel really spacious. I couldn't believe there was not one or two but 5 of the 6 living room seats reclined! We made full use of the hottub and we could actually see the milky way as we soaked in it at the end of the day.
Moreover, the hosts are great! They live 5 minutes away, responded immediately to a few small issues, and were gracious and polite.
Definitely would recommend!
