Welcome to Lower Firefly Cottage. A sweet renovated cottage just mins to downtown Asheville. Featuring 3 BR and 2 BA's on the main level (including 2 king bedrooms) and recently finished basement space is bedroom 4 with two trundle beds to sleep 4 more.
Enjoy our covered front and back porches. Back porch has hot tub, tv and electric fireplace for relaxing. Sit around the firepit and roast smores and look at the stars.

Great house!! We had a hard time the last night because the heat for the house was not running well. I love how easy it was to get places from the house and the ease of texting the hosts was fantastic for the one question that I did ask. Thank you!!

I was really looking forward to this stay over the new year. The property itself was fine, but the communication with the property owner was horrible. Weeks leading up to the stay, I still hadn't heard from her about an early check-in request and I tried 3 different methods of contact (which is also confusing they have so many different guidebooks and links to try and communicate). She was on vacation and said they were short staffed due to the holiday. My suggestion is if you aren't able to properly host your properties due to scheduled holiday vacations, don't rent them out. We were originally told we could have an early check-in, so I planned for that in my travel/arrival. Then I was told the early check-in wasn't possible due to short staff. Then, the property cleaner was still there, for nearly 2 hours, after our regularly scheduled check-in time. We also booked this property because of the hot tub. We were told the hot tub had to be drained due to the previous guests and we weren't able to use the hot tub during our stay- it never fully heated up past a warm bathtub temp. In addition, the house was not properly cleaned (the main bathroom was dirty), there were still dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and many of the dishes in the cabinets were also dirty. The game room power was out and it was really cold in there so we couldn't use. I asked for a discount and never heard back. Overall bad experience and I would not recommend based on my experience.
