WELCOME TO LAKE JUNALUSKA! This lodge sits just above Lake Junaluska with views of the Lake Junaluska Golf Course, and is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ranch, and Maggie Valley. We love the short-range mountains/golf course views off the multiple balconies & deck, the access to Lake Junaluska's walking paths/outdoor activities/fishing/kayaking, the glimpses of the area black bears, fox, and groundhogs, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as the close proximity to area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at our lodge.
The lodge has a spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings on the main level and natural light flooding in. For music lovers, Casa De La Mijenta has a Baby Grand Piano. There are small designated workspaces in two of the five spacious bedrooms.

11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes.
• Please note: Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a $100 fine.

Your property was outstanding! Truly the BEST we have ever stayed at in 17 years of coming to this area! WE REALLY valued the cleanliness, style and class it has! The only difficult part was we traveled with a very active senior and the uneven section of your front porch entry stairs were a challenge… it unfortunately caused our dearest Pastor friend to fall & get hurt. Please repair the front steps when you can so no one else gets injured. We LOVED everything else about your beautiful & CLEAN home and hope to book it again! Thank you!

This home is perfectly suited for a family with any ages. Lots of games, books and activities. The kitchen was well-supplied, the house is beautiful and comfortable.

Our group of extended family across three generations had a lovely stay at Casa De La Mijenta. It truly felt like we were staying in someone’s lovingly cared for and thoughtfully decorated home. The beds were comfortable, there were games and activities for the kids, the kitchen was well-stocked. The home was spotlessly clean. We usually drove down the hill and parked in the gravel spots by the walking bridge to quickly access the lake activities. We would definitely return to this home in the future.
