Cozy 2-bedroom house in charming Melbourne with a private hot tub

This house was perfect for me and my dog! I was in town for a work trip and needed a dog friendly place. I was up front that my dog is a pit mix as this scares some people off when it comes to breed restrictions. The owner was perfectly okay with it which made me happy! The location was great and the house was exactly what I needed! The neighborhood was perfect for walks/runs with my dog. The ONLY downside was that it wasn’t ready when I got there, but the owner answered immediately and we got it all worked out. I would definitely stay here again!

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The place is small, but they make great use of the space. The house is organized and clean.There was one thing we couldn't find in the kitchen and the owner texted back within a few minutes. The street is unpaved, so we did get sand in the house easily. The other houses on the street don't maintain their yards well but don't let that deter you since this property is nice with a tall fence. We sat outside one evening and we didn't hear anyone else. It feels like a hideaway. It is located further from downtown Melbourne than it appeared on the Vrbo Circle Map. It was a 25-minute walk to Meg O'Malley's pub which was one of the places we wanted to go but not drive. We felt safe walking home late at night. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Florida Tech campus. 5-minute drive to a Publix grocery store and CVS.

Nice place to stay.

The host was very responsive, and helpful with a day early check in. The house is private, on a side street. Seemed a safe enough neighborhood but neighbors had parties a couple nights and that was disruptive. The house smells pretty badly of dog. I own a dog, but this smell was pungent and lasting. After pulling a clog of hair from the drain in the shower that wouldn’t drain, I was convinced that the cleaning is just subpar. The hot tub had sand all on the seat and the property was quite a mess. It’s a cute space with great potential, but is on the verge of run down and looks as though it needs a little more attention from the owner. The mattresses are very worn and could be replaced.
