We stayed here with another couple while in town for a family event and really enjoyed it. The house was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and the backyard garden was a great spot for relaxed dinners and conversation.The location is quiet and convenient, and the hosts were friendly while respecting our privacy. A comfortable and easy place to stay—would definitely recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rental was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed eating meals on their furnished semi-private outdoor patio area as well. There is ample street parking, and the rental provides off-street parking for one car. The only hindrance that a visitor should be aware of is the proximity to John Wayne Airport, which is a source of noise (jets on take-off) occurring most mornings and evenings.

Valerie went above and beyond for our stay in Costa Mesa! We landed prior to check in and needed to get ready for a rehearsal dinner. Thank you to our special hosts who didn't bat an eye when we had a simple question that could have been answered if we had taken a closer look at the guest book instructions. We shot them a message and within minutes they gave us a call! Super responsive, wi-fi worked great, the house was tidy and clean, and the "zen" experience in the backyard porch made for such a great game night.

This place was as advertised. Great little 2 bedroom home with quick access to freeways, beaches and Disney. We did it all over our time staying. Disney was a quick drive for one of our days, second day we went to the beaches of the OC and our last day we went into LA. Host was awesome and even gave an excellent recommendations for activities with our family. Great vacation and a great home!

This 2BR +2BA with outdoor space was a perfect size and location for our family group of 5 (1 infant) plus our small dogs to spend a week. We really enjoyed its close proximity to the Newport Bay Conservation Area and walked our dogs there daily. (We saw a heron, egrets, hawks, and a beautiful coyote!) Location is near the OC airport, and you hear the planes taking off, but it didn’t really bother us. Pretty convenient drive for going to Disneyland as well. The place was pretty clean, and the barbecue, laundry, stove, coffee pot and dishwasher worked great. Owner checked in with us midway which was appreciated. Place is as pictured. Would stay here again.

We traveled to CA for a college softball tournament. The owners were excellent with their communication and everything went very well. The home was super nice and clean. Even with the owners living up front. You have your own private space. A couple times when we came back to the house, the owners, Jim and Valarie, were outside. They are so kind and we had great conversations. Wil definitely reach out again when we are in the area

We recently adopted our foster son and he aged out in the process, so while he is 18 he is still very much a teenager and missed out on a lot of fun as a kiddo. So since he is Goth we wanted to take him to Disneyland during the Nightmare Before Christmas festivities at the Haunted Mansion. We also hadn’t seen our family in Southern California since before the pandemic. So we drove down on a Sunday and came home on Black Friday. This spot is an Oasis. Everything from Gas to Groceries to a Dispensary are just a loop around this quiet neighborhood. We were 20 mins from Disneyland, 30 from our family and an hour from Hollywood (there was a freeway outage that may have made these longer so definitely check when you are there.) We setup our xbox and kiddo stayed in the bunkbed room with his laptop when not with us and had no wifi issues at all (and both my wife and I worked on this trip). Couch doesn’t look comfortable but it totally is, we loved it. Kitchen is perfectly setup to cook. The backyard is perfect for family meals. Excellent for being a tourist or needing quiet for work or just to have a quiet spot for family time, so it fit all of our needs. We will absolutely come back. Perfect.

Went to DL with college-aged kids. Valerie is lovely and her place was exactly as described! Mattresses are soft, but I’m the only who needs a firm mattress. Luckily, the couch converts to a VERY comfortable, nicely firm bed. (NOT a sofa bed…a firm cushion that pulls out and up to extend the surface of the couch…was perfect!) Didn’t have a hair dryer so bring your own. Felt safe and secure and close to restaurants and Newport Beach where we kayaked! As mentioned, Valerie was a great host!

We stayed there for several days while moving our daughter to CA. The place was perfect for us. This is our first time staying at someone’s guest residence, so we weren’t sure how easy or awkward it would be, but Valerie made it extremely comfortable. The access to the house was extremely easy and we still had all the privacy we wanted. The place had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable to accommodate our family of four. We plan on staying there anytime we come to visit our daughter.
