About this cottage rental

Rustic stone house, built in 1951, restored in 2010, respecting the original construction, typical eaves.
The house is part of a property with about 9. 000 m2, where organic farming, mainly vineyards and olive groves.
The house consists of two bedrooms (ideal for 4 people), bathroom, a large kitchen and living room with fireplace (the living room has a sofa bed where it is possible to sleep 2 more people). Abroad, ample parking space and leisure.
With a privileged view of the snow of Serra Da Estrela and the cherry blossoms of the Serra da Gardunha.

Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There was an english manual for the property, it was hidden in a drawer so found that the day before we left. Kitchen is simple, if you like to cook, keep your meals simple. Owner is nice and responsive.
