About this resort
Gorgeous fall views, Cozy Holidays are awaiting you. Your Lake Ouachita adventure begins at the Bear Den, just a few steps away from Lake Ouachita, Turtle Cove Spa & Pool(seasonal pool), EV charging station, and the Pickle ball court. Other amenities available like Fishing, Horseback riding, Basketball & Tennis courts. There are also 2 EV charging stations by the boat ramp. Only 24mi to Mid-America Science Mueseum in Hot Springs. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo on Lake Ouachita with many amenities and memories awaiting you. The cozy space features 1 king bed, 2 trundle beds, and 1 child bed, perfect for families and friends. There is also a Pack n Play, Toddler bed, and Highchair in the second bedroom closet. The Living room is equiped with 1 Queen sofa bed and 1 twin sofa bed and a wood burning fireplace, a 65" Flat Screen TV and a smart TV in each bedroom. With amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washer/dryer, After a day of exploring guests can relax and unwind on the balcony. Enjoy numerous activities such as boating, swimming, hiking, pickle ball, tennis, basketball, fishing, and horse back riding.
Fitness room / equipment
There is a workout room at the firehouse and an outdoor circuit by the spa which only steps away. From our Bear Den you are close to swimming
pools, a beach, tennis courts, pickle ball court,
basketball court, playgrounds, lots of trails for walking,
mountain biking and ATV riding.
A favorite is Hickory Nut Mountain. The view is
incredible! The Lodge restaurant has a great lake view! You can
enjoy your food at their outside dining area along with 2 fire pits, a cocktail pool and family games
like corn hole.
Visit the Lodge or Shangri La Cafe for lunch. Marina has fishing gear and boat, Sea Doo, kayak, paddle board, including dock rentals available if you bring your own boat. There is a play ground for the kids. Our place will help you feel at home while you're exploring Lake Ouachita.
The space:
This is an upstairs unit with Vaulted ceiling, a wood burning fireplace and a outdoor balcony with a winter view of the lake, just steps from the pool, pickle ball court and the lake. Propane grill and fully stocked kitchen. This is our vacation getaway.

convection oven. All kitchen furnishings are of great quality. You will also
find an instant pot, crab leg utensils, Ninja blender and a Sous Vide immersion circulator. Any thing you want to cook, you should be covered.
-Master Bedroom:
Features a King bed
with new Hybrid mattress
and luxury linens. Extra
pillows and pool/lake towels in the closet. 43in Smart TV.
Master bath with stand-up shower and stocked towels under the sink. Hair dryer
located in bottom drawer.
Wifi router is located in the living room with access printed on the back.
-Secondary bedroom: Features two twin beds and one twin trundle bed, 43" Smart TV
Pool/lake towels and extra
linens for sofa beds are
stocked in the closet. Also
find a high chair and Pack N Play in the closet.

This was the most fabulous VRBO that we have ever experienced! The decor (all bear related) was so cute and entertaining. The first thing I noticed when we opened the door was the clean smell…and that remained throughout the stay. Everything you could need was provided. A basket of snacks that the teenagers loved! Top knotch cooking utensils. TVs in every room and games that the teens loved. I cannot say enough good things about this stay! We will be back!

This property and the host are amazing.. Sylvia was always prompt and available to answer any questions and the property was so clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need!! I travel often and on this trip I had 6 teenagers and an infant and there was plod room and entertainment for all. Definitely one of the best places I have stayed!! It’s so beautiful and comfortable and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The place is thoughtfully furnished with many small insightful extras. We appreciated the host's conscious effort to keep lines of communication open throughout the trip. It met and exceeded our family's needs for our trip here.

Our stay at the Bear Den was wonderful! It was very clean and very cozy. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of linens and blankets. The kitchen was nicely supplied with appliances and utensils. The sweet snack welcome basket was a big hit with the kids! The decor is precious!! Conveniently located with lots of great amenities! We will definitely be back!
