Inoperable items- Stovetop - one gas burner did not work properly- Outdoor shower - Upon arrival, discovered water inside entrance way coming from failing outdoor shower pipes. Leaks significant enough to require shutting it down for our stay. No guarantee when the repair would be done so left it shut off to stop the flooding. Host responsive but unfamiliar with the piping. An outdoor shower is critical in a house like this at the beach, especially with indoor shower in main hallway so you can not use it and have dry floors causing potential slipping issue on stairs. - Mini-vacuum did not workCleanliness - Overall could have been much better. Third story porch floor needed significant cleaning. Floor was dirty with cigarette butts and ash at various places on the floor. More cigarette butts around the ground floor patio. Main floor, especially the corners, not clean. Expected after being there few days but not when it was cleaned prior to arrival. Master bedroom closet still have previous renters party material in it. Host - On site host worked hard to be responsive and was polite and considerate. She was however, not the decision maker with things related to the operation or repair of items in the house. Cost - cost fine except for above conditions. Owner should have made some accomodation due to the shower and cleanliness needs improvement
