About this cabin rental
Built by Amish craftsmen on a bluff above the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, Sweet Water is a 1,000-square-foot log cabin that earns its reputation quietly. The tight joinery. The covered front porch built for sitting still. The river visible from the porch the entire stay.

A mini-split unit provides both heating and air conditioning. Smart TV available. Fast, reliable WiFi. A cabin built by hand with craft that shows in the details.

Two full bathrooms — water pressure is strong in the primary shower.

✔ Covered front porch overlooking the river — the best seat in the house

River note: the cabin sits above a steep bank. No direct water access from the property. Several public access points are within a mile for swimming, fishing, and floating.
Driveway note: steep and winding, gravel and stone surface. FWD or AWD recommended May through October. 4WD is required November through April — this is not optional in winter conditions.
This cabin is not suitable for infants under 2 years old.
No fires in the indoor fireplace. The mini-split provides heat. Outdoor fire pit is available when no fire restrictions are in effect.

Very beautiful two bedroom log cabin along the river! The cabin was very clean, and was stocked with TP, paper towels, tons of kitchen cookware, and bear spray. We’d definitely stay there again

What a perfect spot for our family's first visit to Montana! The location, the size, the cleanliness - everything about it was exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for helping to make our vacation memorable! We would stay here over and over.

Beautiful cabin, in serene location, next to a river that is meditative. It's very close to the Park entrance, and park provisions and everything else you may need is nearby. Wonderful spot to relax and use as base of operations.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sweet Water! The property is beautiful with a great river view and easy access to Glacier National Park. We would be happy to stay again.Highly recommended!
