Beautiful vacation apartment with a terrace, 85 m², 2 bedrooms, and a large living room

The 85-square-meter vacation apartment is located on the first floor of our house and is accessible via an outdoor staircase. The apartment features two bedrooms with hardwood floors, each with a large bed (160x200 and 140x200). One of the bedrooms also has a single bed.
You’ll also find a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need: stove, filter coffee maker, new espresso pot, toaster, blender, microwave...
Free, high-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbit/s) is available for your exclusive use, as well as a 32-inch (80 cm) TV. The vacation rental is new and modernly furnished. Please note that the apartment is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The forest begins right behind our house, offering various hiking trails. The large terrace directly adjacent to the vacation rental is perfect for relaxation, and guests are also welcome to use the adjacent garden.

The vacation rental is located 20 minutes from Freiburg, 30 minutes from Europapark, and approximately 45 km from the water park in Titisee/Neustadt. The 1,241-meter-high Kandel—the highest mountain in the Central Black Forest and the local mountain of the four municipalities of Waldkirch, Simonswald, St. Peter, and Glottertal—can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. The 1,493-meter-high Feldberg is approximately 50 km away, while Colmar (France) and Basel (Switzerland) are about 60 km from us.

As private vacation hosts, we are required under Sections 29 and 30 of the Federal Registration Act (BMG) to collect certain information from our guests via a registration form and, as part of the town of Waldkirch—which participates in the KONUS program—to collect a visitor’s tax of 2.20 per person (ages 16 and older) per day of stay. This registration form should be filled out upon arrival. The Konus guest card serves as a ticket and is valid for travel to the main train stations in Basel (Badischer Bahnhof and Basel SBB-Schweizer Bahnhof) and Pforzheim; however, it is not valid for inner-city public transportation in those cities. The Konus card is also valid in Karlsruhe, both for travel to the main station and for use on inner-city public transportation, etc. You can also find the current coverage area for the Konus guest card online at www.konus-schwarzwald.info. The visitor’s tax entitles holders, among other things, to visit and use the facilities and attend the events that the municipality provides or organizes for spa and recreational purposes. Severely disabled persons with a disability rating of at least 50%, as well as one accompanying person, are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
