About this apartment rental
Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed. The open-concept living room is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks. Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. The Galvestonian is a beautiful property with easy access to the beach, which is provided by a private walkway. Anchors Aweigh Hideaway is well stocked with the essentials for making simple meals, very clean, and comfortably furnished. Do note that there is a light outside the bedroom window that makes the room quite bright during the night. The solution is provided in a roll-down shade that is installed above the window, but we were too tired on our first night there to see it. Silly us. If there is a downside to this property, it is the lack of on-site laundry facilities for guest use, so pack accordingly or plan to drive to a nearby laundromat. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and plan to stay here again. I highly recommend the Galvestonian.

Staying at the Galvestonian is always a treat. This unit had great chairs on the balcony and was very nice. The refrigerator water is very slow. This unit didn’t have games but the front desk did. They could use some extra blankets and games but overall was very nice.
