About this apartment rental
The house is comfortable and spacious.
On the first floor there is a living room at the entrance, an internal kitchen, a wide bathroom and two bedrooms: the first one is a double room with a big wardrobe and a bed whose head is a window facing east; the second one is a twin bedroom with a wardrobe and a set of bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed – a double one – in both the living room and the kitchen.
The furniture has been made of stone and wood by local craftsmen under the supervision of a famous architect.
The house is provided with:
1. air conditioning;
2. iron and ironing board;
3. barbecue;
4. hairdryer;
5. fully equipped kitchen;
6. washing machine
7. Wi-Fi
Check-in: on Saturdays from 14:00
Checkout: on Saturdays by 10:00
The price includes the domestic consumption of water, power and gas, the initial cleaning and the weekly linen.
In order to book, you need to fill in our application form. La Naca della Taranta will then send you the confirmation of your booking with the contract and the instructions on the advance of 20% of the occupancy price.

The terrace is huge and you have a wonderful view. The interior could have some renovation and the layout is not optimal. But it worked great for our family. There were aircondition in every room, a nescafe machine and a washing machine on the terrace.There are many stairs up to the house, and the entrance is in a very narrow alley.A perfect location in the middle of the old town with a lot of good restaurants, gelatoshops and small stores.The house is only for commercial rental, so nobody is living in the house. Only communication via whatsapp, but i worked great.Overall a wonderful vacation due to the location, the city ans the terrace.

We loved our holiday in Otranto.
This apartment is in the best location with fabulous views from the terraces. We were given a friendly and helpful welcome by Andreas and the accommodation was clean, secluded and quiet yet just steps away from cafe's, bars, the Castle and the beach.
We were particularly impressed by the quality and variety of food in all the restaurants and the service and friendliness of the staff there and by the rest of the community that we encountered. We also enjoyed buying freshly caught local fish and veg to cook in the outside kitchen.
I'm looking forward to booking again in the future. Many Thanks to the owners.

My husband, three-year old son and I stayed in the house at the end of September for 10 days. The house was fantastic. We loved the outdoor kitchen and roof top terrace - it is really peaceful there, gets all the sun and made the holiday very relaxing.
The house is in a great location - very close to the castle in the old town and an easy walk to the beach and all bars and restaurants. We had hired a car and enjoyed a few trips out (Gallipoli is worth a visit) but also enjoyed spending time in Otranto.
The owner and her husband were really helpful. He met us and described where everything was and could not have been more friendly. He even helped us pay a parking ticket!
Would thoroughly recommend the house.

The house is in a great location in old Otranto and has beautiful outdoor space. We loved the terraces and spent most time out there. The hosts are vey responsive and helpful. However they do not live in town and that might be part of the problems that need to be fixed. The house feels a bit neglected , as for cleaning (kitchen and outdoor space) and maintenance of appliances (few examples: the refrigerator freezer door was broken, the kitchen cookware, dishes, glassware, cutleries were insufficient, the Nespresso coffee machine broke after first use, etc..). Finally the online listing misrepresented the availability of 2 bathrooms ( one of the bathroom is in a separate space at the first floor and is not connected to the main house, there is no elevator connecting the 2 properties as listed). We made a mistake as we thought that there were 2 double bedrooms (we did not pay attention while booking attracted by the photos of the outdoor!). The second bedroom has bunk beds. It is a home suitable for a family with kids , not to two pair of adults. We made it work and enjoyed our staying anyway, using the comfortable bunkbed mattresses on the couches. Overall the house has the great potential to become a "prestigious" apartment (as stated) but as for now is quite far from that.
