Our family of 26, including an infant, had an outstanding stay while celebrating my mother's 99th birthday. The home was exactly as depicted in the listing—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a large, multi-generational group.
The kitchen deserves special mention. It is exceptionally large and stocked with virtually every appliance, utensil, cookware item, and serving piece you could need.
Mark was excellent to work with. He responded quickly when we reported that one outdoor grill would not shut off properly and the kitchen sink garbage disposal was not working.
A highlight was the daily bear sightings. We even captured wonderful video of a mama bear and two cubs roaming the yard at midday, with one cub climbing on the outdoor furniture. Do not leave food or garbage outside. We kept trash in the garage bins with the garage door closed, yet the bears still lingered nearby because they could detect the scent.
A few suggestions: the A/C is not well balanced, and some bedrooms stayed noticeably warmer than others. Instructions for the great room speaker system and entertainment room equipment would also be helpful, although we eventually figured everything out. Periodic inspections between guests would catch items like an inoperable bedroom TV, inoperable grill knobs, dryer vents, and other routine maintenance.
Overall, this is an outstanding property. We would definitely consider returning and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay! Our group had 26 people, and the house felt very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to eat, relax, and hang out together. The entrance faces the neighborhood, but the large backyard made the home feel private, which we really appreciated. The location was also great—close to town and the beach. Mark was responsive before and during our trip, and all communication was easy and appreciated. Overall, it was a beautiful house and a great place for our celebration!
