About this villa rental
Villa Chiara is located in Pergine Valdarno near Arezzo. The House was built in the 1950's , and was designed by an architect influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. It has been recently restored with modern comforts including air conditioning for a pleasant stay , even in the hottest months of summer.
The house is 250 sqm , almost entirely on one level . There is a spacious living room with a fireplace and adjacent dining room. A small studio, three double bedrooms , one single , and one large single. Three bathrooms and a large kitchen. This is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer and accessories including toaster, American coffee machine, or Italian coffee.A den with another fireplace leads up to the second floor where one of the doubles, and the single share a bathroom.
Outside is a large covered terrace where you can eat alfresco,facing west, with long views ( 10km)
The House is surrounded by a large garden completely fenced in, and is about 1.5 acres. The swimming pool (10m x5m) ,has a beautiful view over the hills facing southwest.
Villa Chiara is located in a strategic area for those who want to visit the most important cities in Tuscany. It is about 50 Km to Florence, 15 Km to Arezzo and 45 Km for Siena.
Many other points of interest are within easy reach , either by car or on foot.
It is private, yet only a few minutes walking to the town of Pergine (about 300 m).Here there is a bar, a bank, a pharmacy a post office and a restaurant/ pizzeria .
A chef service and home cooking courses are available upon request.

Great villa for an extended family- lovely pool and two wings for accommodation. Luciana was responsive but hardly needed. Would definitely recommend- photos don’t do it justice

Adult family stay five of us and we had ample room. Unique home nicely situated with a great patio and pool. Decent grocery options nearby. Recommend the restaurant in town for both quality and value. Day trips were relatively easy, inclusive of a train ride into Florence. Do know there is NOT a television in the house (wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for others).

11 days, 2 families, 4 adults. Large 1950's stylish family house with super, airy living/ dining space and well equipped kitchen. Suite of beds and bathrooms in two wings giving good separation and privacy. Fantastic views, fabulous olive orchard and garden, good sized pool, seating everywhere, complete privacy, quiet, peaceful, 360* sun/ shade facing all day. Just a stroll away from a small, beautiful, (non-touristy, non-commercial) village centre with cafe-shop for basic amenities (bread and pastries, etc) and
great restaurant, Le Cantine. Arezzo is full of character with more excellent restaurants and a hypermarket.
PV's location is perfect for the many touristy sights but we couldn't really drag ourselves away from such a chill-out space.

Our family had an amazing week at Villa Chiara! Luciana is very gracious and communicative. Would highly recommend and return!! The layout offers privacy for all with 4 master bedrooms, king sized beds and one smaller. 3 full bathrooms make getting ready easy. If you love to watch sunsets- this is your place! High on the hill with stunning views of the Tuscan mountains and valleys.
Beautiful and well-maintained pool, in a quiet, safe neighborhood.
The small town is easily accessible by walking. There is a pharmacy and MD that comes several times a week. The restaurant is within walking distance, along with a small general store. To see a physician you must make the appointment at the pharmacist. It is highly recommended that you rent a car in Arezzo as transportation can be an issue. A 1 hour drive to many beautiful points of interest from the house. There is a washing machine and hang dry laundry. People were very receptive and kind if you have any questions, but very little English spoken. Overall, highly recommend and one of the best!
