About this apartment rental
Excellent 3 bedroom / 2 bath unit at Santa Maria Resort! One of the largest and best pool and hot tub areas on the island! Walk or trolley to everything - the beach is across the street.
Unit is set up with a KING in the Master bedroom (with master bath) and a KING in bedroom 2 with the second bath right next to it. The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds and a queen pullout. Note: 3rd bedroom is very tight when the queen pullout is used - but functional and great for kids.
Queen Sleeper Sofa and Love seat in Living area are new (2025) and unit has a very nice Lanai with chairs and table. Kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, glass top stove, microwave and Washer/Dryer in small room just off kitchen area. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach toys / accessories are included and the cleaning service provides fresh towels and linens for your stay, as well as initial paper products.
In addition to the fantastic pool and hot tub area - the resort has all new decks, docks and seawall and a manatee viewing area, a large Tiki Hut with 75" TV and Weber grilling areas. A commercial ice machine is on the ground level. Parking is included with your stay - but you really won't need it once you get here! A 75 cent trolley will take you anywhere on the island including many restaurants and bars including Margaritaville, The Beached Whale, Wahoo Willies, Junkanoo, Yucatan, Lighthouse Tiki Bar, Snug Harbor & Matanzas on the Bay to name a few! The Beach Bar has live music almost every day 1pm-5pm. Walk next door to many shops and eateries. CVS & 7-11 are two blocks away as well. Local gulf shrimp can be purchased at Erickson and Jensen's. White Sand Beaches. Great sunsets. And the fishing is great!

Check in was easy. Host responded to questions. Pool area was wonderful. Boat canal was very scenic. Beach was great and entrance was very close to condo complex. Although, host could have been more descriptive on entrance to beach. Entrance was marked by a sign "For Members and Guest only of other condo complexes" but did not specifically say Santa Anna condo complex. So, I was confused. Strip mall next to the condo complex and CVS was an added benefit. Publix grocery store was relatively close too. All in all, my party of 4 adults and two children ages 3 and 5 had a great time.

The place was as described and had enough room for 6 people. It could certainly use some updating, but I suspect that is reflected in the price of the rental, and the essentials were all there.

The condo was well equipped with all the essentials. The hot tub and pool area was very clean and fun for our entire family.

The unit was wonderful, except for the “kids’ room.”The bunk beds are unsafe, and need to be replaced. They tip over very easily, and I wouldn’t let my grandchild try to climb to the upper level. Much the same with the pullout couch next to the bunk beds. It’s wobbly, and feels unsafe to put much weight onto. The sheets on it did not appear to be clean, and there were only single sheets in the cabinet. Most of those were very old and stained; the one blanket we used had a hole in it. The other rooms and the rest of the property were great; only the kids’ room needs a complete overhaul.
