The space
With three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, and an awe-inspiring infinity pool overlooking the world-class beach with protected Isla Chora beyond, this is where luxury meets tranquility.
Casa Macaw combines charm and convenience, blending aesthetic features such as the ornate winding staircase and stunning views from every room, with the modern amenities we’ve come to expect from elegant, high-end homes: king-size beds in two rooms, a soaker tub and rain shower, washer, dryer, and a Sub-Zero fridge in the granite-countertop kitchen.
Located along a newly paved road in an exclusive gated community, within walking distance to the beach below and less than a 5-minute drive to the center of Sámara town. Optional offerings include a personal chef, extra cleaning services, grocery shopping if you prefer to do your own cooking, and 24-hour concierge service
Watch the sunrise from your bedroom balcony or from the outdoor patio as you start your day with the freshest Costa Rican coffee. Enjoy yoga or meditation by the pool while howler monkeys and scarlet macaws—their nest in a hollowed-out palm tree very close to the pool— provide the morning soundtrack. Trust me, you walk in the front door of this place and it takes about 30 minutes to pick your jaw up off the floor due to your amazement in the view from this property at the edge of the infinity pool! So perfect! The house has everything you could ever need and will definitely not disappoint! Louis, the property manager, was awesome to deal with and just a great person all around. Made sure our family and friends were informed on everything in and around Samara, and was just a great resource for information when needed! Thanks Louis! Lots of moneys in this area and the macaws were so cool to watch as well! Just an all around amazing property for first time Costa Rica visitors!! You’ll never forget it!

The house and location is amazing. It’s spacious and has the best view! We loved the days in the pool overlooking the ocean. The property manager Louis is awesome. Super responsive and helpful. He gave us restaurant and excursion recommendations! We even ran into him at one of the restaurants and he sent our kids ice cream! What a host!! The secure gate was nice - we felt safe! We would book this place again in a heartbeat!
