About this cabin rental

This split level holiday home is perfect for families with plans to spend most of their time in the river or at the water park. Located behind the Cool River Tubing Water Park and within walking distance to downtown Helen! The light fills this home through the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Sit on the back deck and listen to the water flow by. Cook up a dinner on the gas grill, we provide the propane!
Cuddle up on the leather furniture and enjoy the flat screen television in the living room with free WiFi connection. The television is streaming where you can find free channels to watch or sign into your own accounts. (Just don't forget to sign out when you check-out!) The kitchen and living room are open to each other, leaving plenty of room for entertaining while cooking and making snacks during movie night! Turn up the gas logs for a cozy evening with the warmth and glow of a fire.
On the main floor is the Stars and Stripes Queen bedroom, decorated and representing all that is the american flag. This room has it's very own streaming television. The Stars and Stripes bath is just across the hall with a walk-in shower. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, retro vanity and full length mirror. This bedroom also has its very own streaming television, too. The master bath has a jetted garden tub, ready to soothe away your troubles.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Cabin on the River is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 4 vehicles.
• Access: The roads and driveway are paved. The property is on stilts and there are 20+ steps from the parking area up to the front door.
• Pets: Cabin on the River is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: The property is located directly behind the Water Park in downtown Helen on the Chattahoochee River.

Enjoyed our long weekend with friends. Only thing is the beds are hard and not super comfortable. Otherwise, it was fabulous! Great location! Property manager called to make sure all was well. Great experience! Will rent again!

Overall property was just o.k. it did have few notable issues. Driveway was hard to navigate (Chevy 2500 truck) due to evergreen tree partially blocking access, fan in downstairs bathroom did not work, one of the kitchen outlets did not work, door to deck was really hard to close and lock. Downstairs bed was like sleeping on cardboard. The property is crammed next to two other units with 5 ft or less between the units. Add says within walking distance of shops and restaurants, while technically true, most of the this was over a mile away. Deck needed paint and included two really cheap chairs and no table for coffee. I rented this place to sit by the river. There were no chairs and no fire pit, but area did have a no trespassing sign and rental sign. Also, my view across the river was three drainage pipes and a closed water park. The add did not really describe the property. This is my first rental thru VRBO and maybe I expected too much.
