About this house rental
Enjoy private resort living complete with a heated saltwater pool, waterslides, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, views of the ocean, and SeaWorld fireworks. This home has all the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable including a fully stocked kitchen and both indoor and outdoor games. It is located overlooking the ocean and bays in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, yet close enough to enjoy all of the San Diego attractions in a 5–30-minute drive.
You will love our quiet, beautiful upscale neighborhood where there is plenty of parking. You can see the ocean from our home, but it is high above it to avoid having to deal with crowds.
You can access the property by an individually provided key code.
The main house features **four bedrooms**. Upstairs, the primary suite has a **king bed, private full bathroom, and beautiful views**. Downstairs, there is a **king bedroom with a twin sleeper chair**, a **queen bedroom** overlooking the side garden, and a fourth bedroom with **two twin beds and pool views**.
The detached **pool house (optional 5th bedroom, additional fee)** includes a **queen sofa sleeper, full-size loft bed, kitchenette, and full bathroom with shower**. Please note that the pool house **does not have central A/C** and is cooled with ceiling and floor fans.
The home also features a **spacious living room with a large-screen TV and seating for up to 16**, plus a **fully stocked kitchen and large family-style dining table**—perfect for gathering and enjoying time together.
There are two spaces in our driveway and three spaces in front of the house for a total of 5 spaces for your personal use. San Diego does have a good trolley, but for our area we recommend renting a car or taking an Uber/Lift. We can provide information on a car service if needed. Our neighborhood provides some beautiful walks with views.

The base rate includes access to the **4-bedroom main house** and accommodates up to **9 registered guests**.
Pool House – Optional 5th Bedroom
Our detached pool house (5th bedroom) is available for an additional fee and includes a loft bed, queen sofa sleeper, kitchenette, and full bathroom with shower. Please note, the pool house does not have central A/C but has ceiling and floor fans. Contact the host to add it to your reservation. If not reserved, it will remain vacant and will not be rented to anyone else during your stay.

This was a family vacation with our two sons, spouses and two 5 year olds. The room set up was perfect for our family and my DIL was pleased to have the pool house as a quiet space to work for the week. The pool and outdoor area is definitely the highlight for any age. Even Grammy did the water slides! The hot tub was welcome addition after we got the hang of heating and jets. It was hard to convince the grands to leave to do sightseeing. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. and the BBQ area being on natural gas made cooking there pleasant. This is an older home and has some wear and tear. It is very close to Costco, Vons and Trader Joe’s. Host was responsive to questions. I had never done VRBO ( but lots of a competitors) so my only complaint was the separate billing of the hefty VRBO fee which doesn’t show in the initial price and I had failed to notice until paying the final piece. That said the kids offered to help pay for the trip for next year they loved it so much.

We had a wonderful stay at this home while celebrating our son's college graduation. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our visit. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax together.The highlight of the stay was definitely the backyard pool — it was absolutely amazing! We spent so much time outside enjoying the beautiful space and making great family memories. We had great views of the city and ocean, the neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. It was the perfect setting for a memorable family celebration.This home truly had everything we could have asked for, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Property was perfect for families. Backyard is as advertised and amazing. Location was great. We opted for a few extra cleanings and it was perfect for our 1 week stay. Kitchen is very well stocked as others have mentioned.
