Come enjoy the sun and the sea in this OCEAN FRONT beach home in Terramar Beach on Galveston Island!
If you want to check in the same day you book your reservation, Vrbo requires us to approve this beforehand so please notify us and we will be happy to do so!
We are located only minutes from the Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Galveston State Park, the movie theater, the miniature golf course, the Airplane Museum and even NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk are close enough if you’d like to spend a day there! Galveston shows a calendar of events.
We are on the west side of the island and only minutes from the Strand and Stewart Beach.
This home comfortably sleeps 18. We have a wheelchair ramp to enter the home if you don't like all those stairs! Sleeping arrangements include a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a full sized bed (sleeps 4). The master has a private bathroom with a "roll-in" shower. Bedroom two comes with a queen sized bed and a full sized bed (sleeps 4). Bedroom three has 2 pyramid bunk beds (full sized bed on bottom and twin sized bed on top), (sleeps 6). The living room is furnished with a queen sized sleeper sofa plus a full size futon. The guest bath has a full tub/shower combination.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. It has a glass top stove with a double oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the comforts of home! Central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. The living room has a large, flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a TV and DVD player in each bedroom.
Our home has a nice sized deck that overlooks the ocean. There is also a wood deck underneath the house and a picnic table.
Terramar Beach has a neighborhood pool that our guests are welcome to enjoy!
Linens provided but please bring your own beach towels.
Wifi and cable service can be unreliable in Galveston. We are sorry that we will be unable to guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.
Rates posted may be for a limited number of guests. Additional fees may apply for larger groups, especially during the off-season.
Prom groups are welcome with a prom fee of $500 and a refundable damage deposit of $1000.

This house was PERFECT for my mom's 91st bday celebration! It was clean, the weather and the view were spectacular, the beds were comfortable and the living room, dining room and kitchen were very accommodating for both children and adults. There was a good supply of cooking utensils - pans, bowls, cutlery, plates, etc. The very large table in the dining room was a great place for meals, group discussions and games. The ramp made unpacking and packing very manageable. We have rented many houses in Galveston through the years, but this house, by far, is the best one yet! We cannot wait to stay at this house again in the near future.

The location was great, just steps from the beach, and the view was definitely a highlight. The house had plenty of space, and the check-in process was easy. That said, a few things kept it from being a 5-star stay. The cleanliness could have been better (some areas felt overlooked), a few amenities were either outdated or not working as expected, and the house was missing even the most basic essentials — no trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dish or hand soap, or wash cloths were provided. It wasn’t a bad stay overall, but with a little more attention to detail (and stocking the basics), it could have been much better.
