RIVERWOOD COTTAGE IS IN COSBY, TENNESSEE, and is on the banks of Cosby Creek. Enjoy the beautiful waterfall from the screened-in porch!

Riverwood is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath studio style cabin, perfect for couples.
The bath includes a heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a gas fireplace, as well as cable television . NOW WITH WI-FI

The kitchen is fully stocked. The screened-in porch with rocking chairs next to the creek with the view of a beautiful water fall. Now with central heat and air and a Blackstone flat top gas grill

Riverwood is located at the eastern entrance to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and adjoining Pisgah National Forest.

Please note that parking is limited to one vehicle only. All linens and paper products are provided. This cabin requires a 200.00 damage deposit which is refundable upon inspection of the cabin and provided that no damages are found.If damages are found then this damage deposit will be applied toward the damages.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We had dinner at the Apple House nearby and drove through the mountains to enjoy fall colors and also sat on the porch to enjoy the stream.

They were honest about the busy road. The location was very central to everything we wanted. Comfortable enough and everything we needed.

The cabin is great. It was perfect for me and my wife. When we showed up at the property, I had lost my itinerary and had to contact the property owner. I left a voice mail. He contacted me immediately and resent my itinerary. My wife and I were only there in the evenings because we were out exploring the area. The screened in porch is nice. We sat outside and just listened to the water roll by. My only complaint is that it is right by the 2 lane highway. The traffic isn't horrible but it does pick up early in the morning so of you are a light sleeper you better have something to drown out the noise of cars and semi's. It is a very nice property and we plan on coming back in the future.

Cozy open floor plan. Creek/ stream was nice. Could use a little clean up at the base of the steps leading down to stream and some wire fencing maybe from floating down stream. The tub water had a filmy debris when ypu turned on the jets. But all in all it was clean and cozy .

We spent 3 nights there. Didn’t use the jacuzzi tub. The bed slept great. My boyfriend did some trout fishing. We loved the sound of the creek. We actually got rested up. The only issue was when we got there, the air conditioner was not on and it was 86 degrees inside.

My Husband and I came down from the busy city, and this was absolutely perfect. Opening the door every morning and hearing the waterfall was breathtaking. Was a little worried from the comments about road noise, but it was never a major issue. Few UTV and cars but if you have to door to the river open you cant hear it at all. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a great little place, and it is so nice to hear the water and see the stars, but it is on a very busy road, so the road noise is loud and constant. Had this little gem been off the road a little bit, it would have been amazing.

I only stayed here two nights but it was just enough time to visit Dollywood and get a couple hikes in. Sitting by the creek and looking through the rocks completed the experience. The bed was comfortable and having cooking utensils in cabin made for quick breakfasts before starting the day.

We needed a break from everything, and found that here. Cosby is a small, quiet community away from all the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg, yet still a beautiful short drive away from either of you want to get into anything. Had we done a little grocery shopping we could have stayed in the house here the whole weekend and been totally happy. The beautiful little cottage was as clean as it could be, had everything we needed for a couples getaway, and we loved going down to the creek and playing like we were kids again. Also loved the screened in back porch to just sit in the rocking chairs and sip on coffee while listening to the creek drown out all the stress. If you want a simple, clean, and relaxing weekend getaway to reconnect with each other and get away from all your stresses, this is the place to do it! We will definitely keep this place on our list for future bookings.

Other than our own silly struggle to figure out the lock box, everything was perfect! The cottage was very clean, had great instructions for things, and the feature we loved most was the creek/waterfall! This was actually what sold me on this rental vs another, and I’m so glad it was everything I wanted it to be. Bed was comfy, bathroom was small but very clean, shower was great, rockers on the screened in porch were wonderful. The traffic noise didn’t bother us a bit, because the water was loud enough to drown the world out when you sat out there. We followed another reviewers lead, and turned AC off and left the door open the first night to sleep to the creek sounds. We are from NY, but hope to stay here again if we make it back this way in the future. Our only regret was that we were so busy doing pre planned things outside the cottage that we didn’t have more time to enjoy being there. We are going to miss it!

Our cabin was exactly as described. While it is on the main road, once you go into the screened in back porch, the world melts away and all you can hear is the creek. The bed was comfortable and cozy. You're about 35 minutes away from everything, which makes it a great location. We will be back!

Everything matched what was in the picture. Plenty of info on email sent out of extra things to do or checkout. Plenty of stuff to use to cook. We brought our own black stone utensils and used it everyday. Hibachi on vacation is unmatched. The creek is amazing. Fall time with windows open would be perfect

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this cabin. We really loved our time at the cabin. It made us both want to move to Tennessee. It is secluded, yet close enough to Newport and Gatlinburg to be convenient for shopping and entertainment. We found a wonderful coffee shop nearby called “Our Place.” Overall, it was a wonderful day and I cannot wait to return.
