PEACOCK GARDEN in Vatican

The apartment perfectly suited our needs. The price was reasonable and the location near the Vatican Museum was convenient. Often took the bus right outside the door. The two tier outdoor patio was a leafy respite after hours of walking. The bathroom is small, but again suited our needs for a party of two. Would recommend it to any couples traveling to Rome.

Our 12 night stay at Peacock Garden was perfect. The accommodations were the right size with a kitchen/dining/family room, bedroom, bathroom and patio. We never cooked, it’s Rome for goodness sake, but did keep snacks there. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was appreciated. Great water pressure in the shower. The location is ideal. It is a short walk to Vatican City and only blocks from a Metro station that easily takes you around the city or to high speed trains. There are shops, coffee bars, restaurants and a great farmer-style market steps away. Matilde met us upon arrival and checked on us, but we didn’t need a thing. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We want to return and stay at Peacock Garden again (maybe for three weeks or a month). Italy is amazing.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peacock Garden. Cozy, artistic and relaxing - we especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Matilde was a wonderful host.

First time to Rome and could not have asked for a better experience. Everythingabout this apartment was perfect. Located just outside Vatican City and so many restaurants and stores literally steps away. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful. Great place to unwind with a glass of wine after a busy day. The best feature for us though, was the welcome greeting from the Owner, Ms. Mathilda. She greeted us, showed us around and as a welcome gift, a stocked refrigerator with fresh meats, cheeses and a bottle of wine, and so much more! Plus she made the taxi arrangements for our trip to the airport. No brainer to me, and i know where we will be staying next time!
