About this villa rental
Io Villa is located 500 meters from the famous beach of Stoupa and 3 km from the little fishing village of Agios Nikolaos. It is amongst olive trees, set 100 meters back from the main road, in a very quiet place literally next to the famous Stoupa yet away from the bustle and hustle.
Io Villa is a small castle built with local stones, that fit perfectly into the natural surroundings. It consists of a 2-level maisonette which is simply and traditionally furnished. The ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, stove hood vent, kettle water boiler, toaster, washing machine, a living room, storage closets for suitcases, and a spacious covered furnished terrace. In the living room, there is a sofa that converts to a double bed. Amenities include bioclimatic facilities, air conditions on the ground floor and on the upper floor, Wi-Fi Internet, and TV.
Upstairs, there are two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and air condition, sharing a balcony with beautiful sea views. In each bedroom, there is a ceiling fan. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet.
The villa is surrounded by a small garden, a common (between the 3 Io Villas) ecological swimming pool with salty water, and a private parking lot.
The freshwater swimming pool (dimensions: 5m x 10m - depth 1,50m) offers sun lounges, furnished, and pergolas for shade. Pool towels are provided.
The villa offers bed linen, pillows, and towels.
Breakfast and food are not provided.
All windows and doors are protected with a mesh.
A well-stocked supermarket is within 400 meters of distance.

Guests with hair dyed using color-depositing shampoos (e.g., blue, pink, yellow, red, green, etc.) are not allowed in the pool.
Do not dismantle or move furniture to other areas.
Any modification to the villa’s facilities requires owner approval.

Small two-storey apartment in stone house with three apartments, which shares a beautiful pool area with many sun loungers. The house is in the middle of an olive grove without many neighbors. However, you can hear the neighbor's dogs bark and the main road in the background.
The house is nice and clean. A smaller kitchen with basic equipment. Two terraces / balconies with mountain and sea views. Air conditioning in the living room and fans in both bedrooms.
The housekeeper Maria is super friendly and service minded. She brought fresh eggs to us and went out of her way to make our holiday a success.
Stoupa is a lovely small town without many major hotels and resorts. The beach is excellent with sand, nice water and many fish and smaller reefs to snorkel on. Several restaurants, cafes and small shops with the necessity for a nice beach holiday.
Nearby Kardimily is worth a visit with several restaurants, shops and an older town with a shorter hiking trail up the mountain.
Very nice communication with the owner of the house Goody, who responded promptly and kindly to our requests.
All in all recommendable :-)

Villa well equipped and generally comfortable. Usual Greek hard beds!. Weather was very hot, and ceiling fans not really adequate, especially in the twin room. The pool was lovely, plenty of shade. Thanks to Maria for her eggs.
