At night, the star-filled sky provides a dazzling display of shooting stars.

The Summit House is 100% off-grid, generating its own solar power, well water, and septic system while still providing modern comforts.
✔ No bath or hot tub (to conserve energy)
✔ Well water with filtration (contains natural iron—bring bottled water if preferred)
✔ Starlink WiFi & Cell Service (AT&T & Verizon strongest)
✔ No TVs (unplug & reconnect with nature)

Access is via 5 miles of U.S. Forest Service roads:

✔ Roads are rocky, bumpy, but never muddy
✔ Expect grades up to 12% as you climb to your mountaintop escape

• 2 dish towels + 2 bar mop towels
• 1 bath towel + 1 washcloth per guest
• 2–3 hand towels depending on stay length
• Laundry detergent if washer/dryer is available

This was the perfect place to decompress. The cabin was simple, clean and extremely comfortable. The view was outstanding, quite frankly breathtaking. Even the mountain road to get to the cabin was its own adventure that we enjoyed. After being in traffic day in and day out it was a nice break to just drive in the amongst of all the trees. I hope we have the chance to visit again.

The view was spectacular! The sunrise was incredible to wake up to, and the cabin was really nice. The owners communicated quite well. The only thing I was picky about was the cleanliness of the place when we got there. There were quite a few spider webs on the doors, the mirrors had a couple of stains as well as some dishes, and the fridge. Other than that, we had an excellent stay and would definitely want to come again!

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was spotless and the views were breathtaking. It was exactly as pictured. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with all necessities. Debbie responded quickly to my messages and was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family.
