We booked this for our combined families to stay for the weekend. The home was definitely big enough for our group of 7 children and 5 adults. Check in was off-site and it wasn’t ready when we arrived so we had to go back which was not what we were used to and slightly annoying. We would have waited to check in until it was ready. The home was fine but definitely could use some updating. There were cobwebs on the vaulted ceilings. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. From the mattresses to the bedding. My husband even slept on the couch because the bed was so bad. The water was either scolding or ice cold and there was a fine line between the two. Also, the grill was not working correctly which is definitely a hazard. We love steamboat and frequent staying but most likely wouldn’t book this place again.

It was great location and friendly staff. It would have been nice to have information on accessiblity. The stairs without elevator access was hard on my mother in law.

We had a nice stay and the property was good. The kitchen furnishings were lacking, the pot and pans were not great, the cooking utensils were not awesome and the electronic ignition on the grill did not work. Over all it was a fine place.

Overall the stay was fine. However, the property wasn’t ready for us at check in. One of the rooms had no beds in it. Took maintenance 2 days to put the beds together. Cutting into our privacy during the stay and forcing people to sleep on the floor. We were only compensated 1 day and it took some fighting to get that. The location of the property was nice. Shuttle bus system is very convenient.

"The condo was by a main road and walking path so it was noisy at times when the relatives were in the main bedroom. Weather was warmer than usual for the area so no ac, Retretia was very accommodating..."
