About this apartment rental
Make yourself at home and relax at this completely renovated and newly furnished studio condo located at Grand Traverse Resort’s beach club “The Shores." New Westin Heavenly bed purchased in 2022. All new 100% bamboo sheets and new towels. Toiletries, cleaning supplies and laundry detergent and softener are cruelty free and as environmentally friendly as possible. Close to everything the area has to offer including beaches, skiing, bike trails, hiking, fishing - anytime of year! Close to wineries, breweries, scenic drives anytime of the year, restaurants, casino and shopping. During the winter months, we’re less than 10 miles from two Traverse City ski trails and only 40 minutes from Shanty Creek Resorts. All of this yet once you arrive you feel far away from the hustle and bustle and have peace and tranquillity. This condo is waterfront as it’s located in the building closest to the water and is also considered beachfront! Being on the third floor it offers extra privacy as you’re far enough away from the beach goers and people walking past not to mention the amazing sunset views!
Located on East Grand Traverse Bay, just minutes from downtown Traverse City, this suite is a water and beach lover’s dream. Jet ski, paddle board and boat rentals are on site and available to rent through Blue Sky Rentals.
Three world-class championship golf courses are less than ½ mile away at the Grand Traverse Resort.
40 miles away from Sleeping Bear Dunes, named by Good Morning America as "The Most Beautiful Place in America" in 2011.
Less than 10 miles from downtown Traverse City, named the #1 thing to do by TripAdvisor.
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons - a Historic 1884 hospital complex now a sprawling shopping & dining spot with arboretum & hiking is located 10 miles from our condo.
Additional beach area (Bayside park) is right next to the condo complex offers:

Only guests of Grand Traverse Resort have access to their amenities like the pool. There is a pool 5 minutes away that sells day passes. And of course there’s always the beach with crystal clear water and hard sandy bottom.

We had a wonderful time! The whole experience went seamless and the host was fabulous! The condo was very nice and clean and the view was wonderful! The host was most friendly and a real joy to work with! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

We had somewhat high expectations of this room, seeing as it had high ratings from other guests. Overall, we were content with the room but not blown away. Towels and linens had a mildew smell. There was a lack of comfortable seating and space. The bedding and pillows were cheap quality. The walls seemed paper-thin-- we could hear the neighbors' conversations almost clearly. That said, our stay gave us appreciable views of the water. The deck was lovely. The Keurig coffee was a nice bonus. The room was economical and just fine, nothing fancy and not overly comfortable. This place might have been worth it for the amenities, but due to the time of year we stayed, we did not utilize any of the amenities associated with the resort.
