About this house rental
Our house is just up the road from the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Located between Bushkill Falls and the Delaware National Recreation Area, it offers hiking, biking, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. From Spring to Fall, easy access to kayak or canoe rentals. Numerous golf courses just minutes away. The historical town of Delaware Water Gap and Stroudsburg offers a variety of restaurants, music venues, wineries, breweries and boutiques. Best of all, we are only 75 minutes west of NYC
Freshly updated and tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable Townhouse, sleeps 8 people. Master bedroom features queen bed, Roku TV and private bathroom. Spa room with the Jacuzzi tub for two with direct access to the master bedroom and balcony overlooking woods surrounding Shawnee Mountain. Two full beds in the second bedroom, and two sleeper sofas in the living room. Living room is spacious with open access to the dining and kitchen area, allowing enough space for a large family with big dinning table for 8. Living room features 50 in TV with Roku connected to Netflix and Amazon Prime, fireplace. Slider doors to a deck with table, 4 chairs and open access to backyard with propane grill. Fast WIFI internet access is included and covers the whole property and backyard.
You’re invited to take a break and enjoy our outdoor space. All around community grounds and directly in our backyard, peaceful setting to enjoy relaxing on the deck and listening to amazing sounds of nature. To complement, a propane grill is there for your enjoyment. If you’re more active and looking for longer hiking or water activities, we highly recommend the Delaware River, DWG National Recreation Area, Bushkill Falls, Hidden lake park, and trails, all just 5 to 10 minutes away. Kalahari, Aquatopia at Camelback and Gray Wolf water parks are just 30 minutes away. For adults, there are a number of wineries and breweries to visit, many offering special events with live music and entertainment.
Mount Airy Casino 35 minutes away, and for those who are looking for a designer shopping , Crossings Factory Outlets are only 25 minutes away. Supermarkets and restaurants are just over a mile away.

Another great get-a-way. Love the large jacuzzi tub! The new decking on the front porch and deck looks great! We really enjoy the quiet neighborhood. We'll be back again next year!

Tom and Jola were wonderful hosts! Our 2-week stay at their home pleasantly turned into a most comfortable (beyond our expectations) home away from home for us. They were very thoughtful in making sure all the basic things one would need are there and presented clearly. Tom's communication was prompt, clear and cordial - on arrival, during the stay when I had to call him once, and at departure. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area, and highly recommend to any family looking for a nice place to stay in Poconos.
