Cottage nestled in the heart of a hamlet of five or six thatched cottages where life seems frozen for centuries.
This spacious house with an area of 220 m2 comfortably accommodates 5 people.
Outside :
Private garden of 500 m2 unfenced, with shaded terrace, south exposure.
Not suitable for outdoor games

It consists of a reception room of 39 m2, a large living room of 49 m2 with adobe floor, an equipped kitchen of 32 m2 with dining area
Pellet stove in the kitchen.
Laundry room of 30 m2.
Two stairs allow access to the first floor, ideal for the privacy of two couples.
Upstairs :
2 large bedrooms with 160 bed, 90 bed on the mezzanine.
2 bathrooms with shower, bath and wc.
Sheets, towels and household linen provided.
Beds made on arrival.
Rental from January 01 to December 31. During the winter period, it is strongly recommended to book a few days before your stay to allow me to properly heat the house for your welcome. Indeed, the house is large and it is moderately heated when it is unoccupied.
Lodging classified 4 ears by Gîte de France since the end of 2017, 3 stars by the Departmental Committee of Tourism in 2015.

What a wonderful place! Régine was so helpful, and checking in and out was very smooth. The kitchen was so pleasant to cook in, the bedrooms comfortable, and the whole gîte was beautiful. We had a marvelous stay. Merci beaucoup!

My husband and I just returned from two wonderful weeks at this beautiful, peaceful home. It is exactly as pictured - large and very comfortable. It is absolutely spotless clean and beautifully equipped. Régine has thought of everything, from binders filled with information about the region, markets and restaurants, to a basket with big fluffy robes. The house has two large bedrooms, each with its own big bathroom. One has a huge bathtub, the other a wonderful shower (one of the best showers I have had). The kitchen is well appointed - we regularly cooked and found everything we needed.
The house is in the country but well situated so it is easy to drive to the many sites of the Dordogne.
And Régine was a joy to deal with. She replied immediately to emails, was there to greet us when we arrived and came at our requested early hour when we left. She is warm and lovely. We could not have hoped for a better host, or home from which to explore the Dordogne.
We hope to return!

Although it rained most of the week we were in Dordogne, the house was magnificent. Beautifully remodeled farmhouse, fully equipped, peaceful garden filled with spring lilacs and other flowers, and wonderful host in Regine. We got out most days to explore the nearby countryside and towns, but loved staying in to read, cook, talk. Great restaurants and a nice little village to buy bread, wine, groceries about 10 minutes drive from the house. The perfect place for us: we will definitely go again and highly recommend it.

The house was beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. Everything you could need is available in the house. It is a perfect location from which to explore the region.
