renting a charming house, sea view, very well located.

Very Spacious apartment unit with Full Ocean View from Alfresco balcony, all of the bedrooms, the living room and kitchen.. , The serenity of looking out at the Full Ocean View in the morning for sunrise and watching the colours change over the water at sunset is unmatched. The place is walking distance to the beach and the town center with all the shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The Wash machine was great to have. Definitely stay here if you have the opportunity, a warm welcome will meet you on your arrival. Both France and Christophe are fantastic host. They are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They gave us some superb recommendations on where to eat, places to shop and sights to see. If you are in Calvi you must stay at Villa Mare e Monti.

The house is situated in a quiet residential area about 7 minutes walk downhill to Calvi centre. Walking back up is easy as long as you are able. Well-equipped and tastefully furnished, the house suited us well. Our only problem was with the pillows, too large and too hard for us. There is certainly a view of the sea, but it is narrow, between the two houses in front. Calvi itself is a pleasant place to stay, with good restaurants and a good beach, and it is a perfect centre for exploring the villages of the Balagne and the coast.

Cute little house for 2 people. Great location for walking to bars, restaurants and all amenities. There is a nice view from the house although it’s not as close to the sea as it looks in the picture which gives the impression of being first line. A few improvements could really enhance the stay. Despite the linen fee the towels were terrible, so bad we bought new ones for our stay and the sheet on the bed had cigarette burn holes in it. Despite the cleaning fee the house could be cleaner, there were lots of cobwebs. We were hard pressed to find a plate without a chip in it. We were also surprised to be asked to strip the bed at the end of the stay for the price we were paying. Overall enjoyed the property it just needs a few of the euros we paid spent on it to make it 5 star.
