About this house rental
This three bedroom, two bath duplex home sleeps 10 comfortably. This property offers a great economical way for family and friends to experience Yosemite. With newly updated bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that seats six, perfect for small family gatherings. This home also features a wood-burning stove in the living room, firewood supplied. In the upstairs media room, you'll find a 55" LED TV with Blue-ray disk player, card/chess/checkers table, for hours of fun with the kids. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, each with one queen bed. The upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and the media room that has a twin day bed with trundle and a queen sofa bed, perfect for the kids. We do not recommend sofa beds for adults, they are only acceptable for small children, they are uncomfortable for adults, so we will not guarantee a good night's rest on them. Built for the young at heart, after climbing approximately fifty stairs, you will arrive at the front door of your Skyline Retreat, well worth the climb!

This place was great for a nature retreat and loved the cabin feel. My only recommendation would be for it to have Wifi (for safety reasons), we stayed here during some bad forest fires near Yosemite and because there is very little service, being notified of evacuation or other hazards would not be possible.

It was a nice cabin but there were some problems. Upstairs there was a nail sticking out in the game room and one of the small kids got hurt we had to cover it with the table leg. Mice got in and ate some of our food also some of the pans were dirty. The game room also creeked a lot and those on the bottom had trouble sleeping.
