The San Giacomo apartments in Venice are three elegant properties in an ancient sixteenth century building in the sestiere Santa Croce, far from the crowds of tourists, immersed in a genuine Venetian atmosphere. The ideal location, quiet but just a short distance from this wonderful city’s main attractions, is one of the advantages of these apartments, all of which have an equipped outdoor area. “Giardino Due", on the first floor, is ideal for couples and includes a living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The apartment is furnished in classic Venetian style. Outside it also has a private part of a delightful, jasmine scented garden surrounded by ancient walls (the other part belongs to the "Giardino” apartment). Equipped with table and chairs it is the ideal spot for outdoor meals and for relaxing after a day’s sightseeing in magnificent Venice. The property is just a short walk from the Rialto market, the Frari Church, the San Giovanni Evangelista school, the 'Ca Pesaro Modern Art Gallery, as well as the vaporetto stop on the Riva di Biasio on the Grand Canal, and many shops, bars, taverns, restaurants and the characteristic bacari, where you can taste cicheti accompanied by excellent wines.

Good facilities, comfortable and quiet but easy access to Riva di Biasio Vaporetto stop. Only challenge is getting baggage over Scalzi bridge but the porters are quite reasonable. I went to the opera 2 nights and travel very easy.

Quiet, authentic Venetian apartment with walled private garden - a perfect retreat into quiet and nature after a soul-filling day visiting the art and architectural gems this unique charming city offers. Excellent connections to water bus, market and daily shopping in the square moments from the apt. Perfection! Bed is similar to a King Sized North American bed. Beyond my expectations.

We loved staying in this apartment, spacious with everything we needed, plus a garden to sit out in. You need to be quite good with your map to find it but host was helpful, and charming!

A lovely property in the heart of Venice. Ten minutes walk from the train / bus stations. Beasutiful garden. Quiet location.
The owner was very accomodating of our very late arrival (due to delays with British Airways).
