Phenomenal location! Steps to beautiful City Park & must-see stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. You’ll be right by award winning restaurants, bars, yoga, brewery, 1950’s ice cream shop, & a full grocery store is on the next block! Completely remodeled. Off-street parking! Careful and comfortable details include a fireplace, full kitchen with all new appliances, Tuft & Needle mattress, sofa, smart TV, wifi, full closet and dresser, & full-sized washer/dryer! AND just 7 min to downtown!
Fully renovated, warm lower-level 1-bedroom. It has been thoughtfully updated and tastefully decorated by professionals to offer a relaxing and warm environment allowing our guests to feel on vacation yet still as if they are completely at home. It can accommodate 2 people. As owners, we are passionate about our home and will always remain closely engaged with the upkeep of our property and the satisfaction of our guests. The space has a well-designed large retro living room with electric fireplace, full kitchen with breakfast bar, and a small cozy bedroom with a large closet. All new appliances and furniture including full-size washer/dryer.
And we also offer luggage storage for people needing to securely store luggage before check-in or after check-out.
NEED MORE SPACE? The unit has double doors that can be opened to provide a 2nd unit with a studio bedroom & bathroom. (Contact David for details and additional cost)
We offer internet television with a wide variety of channels and FREE WIFI.
The green, canopied front patio provides a friendly chill-out space to enjoy Denver's blue skies. In summer, we welcome guests to visit the back yard to pick tart apples from one of our apple trees.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: CITY PARK SOUTH
Walk to so many amenities!! With a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood feel close to downtown, the house is just across the street from Denver's largest and most beautiful Park, City Park. The Denver Zoo and the Museum of Science and Nature are just across the park.
There is a full grocery store (Sprouts) on the very next block next to a Denver Bike Share station.
Enjoy 5-10 min walks through our charming neighborhood to several bars: Atomic Cowboy, PS Town, Goosetown Tavern, Cerebral Brewing, and several others
Great dining close by includes Into the Wind, Stella's, Mezcal, Humble Pie, Denver Biscuit Company, as well as hip coffee shops: Hooked on Colfax, Lula Rose Coffee Shop, a Wine bar, and a Cooey's Ice Cream --a 1950s ice cream shop.
Also nearby is one of the hippest book stores (Tattered Cover) next to a modern Independent film Cinema (SIE)

My partner and I live in the unit upstairs, and respect your privacy, but we enjoy assisting you as you need. We're usually around town, and if there is anything you need, don't hesitate to call. We provide lockboxes with several backups should you need.
GETTING AROUND:
My partner and I downsized to just 1 car thanks to this neighborhood. We enjoy the convenience of a car to make it downtown in 7 min, but we also rely on walking, biking, Uber/Lyft, and public buses (Bus 20 to downtown stops feet from the door step, and the Colfax #15 (2 blocks away) also goes downtown and runs every 10 min during peak times. The new "Train-to-the-Plane" light rail is just 2 miles from the home. It runs every 15 min and can get you to DÍA in 27 minutes.
We now offer off-street parking! Street parking is often plentiful on our block as well.

This property was perfect for a weekend stay. The host, David, was awesome in communicating before and during the trip. He really cares about all the details in making sure you’re happy with your stay. The property is right in front of city park which has beautiful scenery you could take a morning walk to. The house was very clean and the kitchen is very modernized with needed appliances. We enjoyed the privacy the unit has as it’s downstairs of the main house. The neighborhood is very green and we always felt very safe. This will be our go to stay if we’re ever in town again.

Location. location. location. We had a lot of fun right in the neighborhood! Biking with the city bikes in the park. Eating at local restaurants on Colfax. Picking up groceries at the very close by health food market. The rooms were well equipped. Bed super comfy and the host was helpful, kind and present. I can highly recommend this stay.

The space was not accurately depicted.This is a suite not an individual dwelling. Other guests or property owner live upstairs.Also, it is on the lower level with one window in the bedroom. It is very dark. Cleanliness was sub-par. Throw rugs in living space and Bedroom need to be replaced. To have a laundry facility is nice but in all other VRBOs, the host leaves at least one laundry pod and dryer sheet. I’d also suggest leaving more than four coffee pods.
