About this house rental
A pretty cottage between Cordes and Najac Independent gite, close to the house of the owners, in a small hamlet. Garden, terrace.
Ground floor: living room with open kitchen and sitting area, wc.
On the floor: two rooms (one double bed, two simple beds), room of water with toilet. Electric heating. Baby equipment on request. Sheets and towels are provided, the cleaning service at the end of the stay is offered.
The Bartharié is a small agricultural hamlet, 450m above sea level, in the heart of Ségala, between Monestiés and the Viaur valley.
The Barthe family has built this pretty cottage, old stone barn.
You will stay in a hilly countryside landscape, ideal for walking and hiking. A few minutes away, discover the rich heritage of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Monestiés or Najac, among the most beautiful villages in France.
Wilderness lovers will appreciate the Viaur Valley or other secret valleys. To cool off in the summer, La Roucarié recreation bases and Cap Découverte sports complex (Devalkart, water skiing, zip line ...).

We had very enjoyable stay with Roland and Marie Therese. They really care about the comfort of their guests, offering help and advice but also privacy. The gite is very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for cooking meals and has all the equipment you may need. The bathroom is large and spacious. The upstairs hall has an air condition unit that keeps the place cool in hot weather. The garden has a private area by the gite but our hosts were so kind and allowed our little dog Bella to roam around both our garden and also their area. My dog had a lovely time, so it made me happy, thank you. There is also very nice outdoor furniture to relax in and really beautiful flowers all around. When you arrive you may think you are in the middle of nowhere. But the beautiful village Legapie is 5-mins drive away. It has riverside picnic areas, cafe, bar and a Casino for groceries. Plus the lady who serves there is very helpful - I got some very nice fresh fish there on Thursday! The area has many beautiful medieval towns to visit, art galleries also a lake to swim in. We had a lovely stay in this peaceful place.
