About this apartment rental

The apartment, with direct mountain view of each room, and with 4 orientations, is composed as follows (see pictures or all views are taken from the apartment):
- a large kitchen open to the large living room (room / living room - 30m² - renovation in autumn 2017) equipped among other two large sofas 3 Pl (including 1 convertible) and a large LCD TV with DVD (with LiveBox and TV decoder)
- a large room of 16m² overlooking south balcony with two double beds, and a bunk bed
- another large bedroom of 11m² with a double bed and a very large closet (equipped with a shower-renovation autumn 2014)
- a small room with 2 bunk beds
- a shower room with WC and equipped with a washing machine
- a separate toilet
- a private ski room / closed with 2 boxes and private room (equipped with ski storage and shoes)

Ideal for a family with a baby (very good sound insulation for naps, direct access to the village without stairs ...). Complete baby equipment provided (bed, stroller ...)

Nice apartment opposite Viking beginner slope and very near Diable lift. We had a great stay in March/April with snow days and sun days. Apartment is well equipped and comes with sledges which we had fun with in the evening. Ski area is first class even late season.

This is our 4th stay in this apartment. It’s a good size and is clean and fairly well equipped, with a lovely sunny balcony. It’s on the third floor with no lift but once we’ve unloaded, it’s not a problem. It has a large ski locker on the ground floor and parking outside. We keep coming back mainly because of its great location - it’s a 2 minute walk to the Diable ski lift, 5mins to European Ski School meeting point, and close to many restaurants, bars and shops. As with most French rentals you either have to provide your own bedlinen and towels, or pay extra for them to provide it. Even once you’ve paid, you still have to make the beds up yourself. Sadly the bedlinen and towels provided are a bit shabby and poorly fitting (which is frustrating given the cost of 37€ per person per week). In addition you pay ’per person’ so do not expect enough bedlinen for all the beds in the apartment if you are less than the maximum number of people - we have learned our lesson on this and now always specify if we want to use all the beds and pay accordingly. It’s easy to book with the owner and communicate with Corinne, the apartment manager once you arrive.

We had another great stay in this apartment. Short walk to Diable ski lift and close to lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. It is clean and well equipped. Important to note that it is on the third floor with no lift but this isn’t an issue for us. Good size ski locker and drying room on ground floor.

We just had a super week in this excellent apartment aided by superb bluebird skies and good snow conditions. Location of the place is brilliant with around 50m walk from the large private ski locker room on the ground floor to the first lift (a new and free magic carpet), that allows the idle to connect to everywhere without walking. Easy to ski back to the same spot. As active skiers the 3rd (& top) floor location presented no step access issues - the locker allowed us to keep ski boots on the ground floor. Kitchen very well stocked with kit, pots and pans although recommend you take your own sharp knife if cooking is your thing. Beds very comfortable - note use of french large square pillows if you are taking your own bedding. One mark off the cleaning because our bags came out from under the beds covered in dust. All the other parts of the flat were well presented and clean. All in all a super holiday location.

We are two small families with four adults and two children. We found the apartment to be be clean, warm, spacious and well equipped with all cutlery,dishes,pans etc The tv has Netflix installed which was handy for kids with tired legs and movies for adults after bedtime. There is a large locker downstairs for skis etc with lots of sledges provided. The apartment is situated one minutes walk from the Viking button lifts so you can go up and ski across to the diable chair lift. or you can have a 7 mins walk (with skis!!!) to the diable lift. From the top of the diable you can access all of the ski runs. We were very happy and would definitely visit again.

This apartment suited our party of 9 very well. It was clean and tidy and well situated for getting to and from the slopes. The kitchen was very well provisioned with everything you could want for self-catering. The only downside was that it was very cold when we arrived as the heating was turned off and also all the plumbing was turned off, so we had no water until we managed to figure out the correct combinations of under-the-sink valves to turn on. I don't think that this would be a problem for the next customers. It was probably just because we were the first customers of the season. After that, everything went very well. A final note is make sure to take your own towels, sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases as they are not provided, even though it says that they are on the property description. Luckily the owner let me know about this a few days before we were due to leave home. I would recommend this property. It worked very well for us...after we got the plumbing sorted out!
