This well-appointed duplex cottage boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and an open floor plan with plenty of coastal living space.
The living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom/bathroom and a half bath are located on the main floor for prime accessibility. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, and a bathroom. All bedrooms include 32" TVs and nice views of the property.
The screened-in back patio is uniquely private and comfortable, perfect for morning coffee or evening sunset as you enjoy the view of the gorgeous natural wetland area.
Tastefully decorated, the home has built in bookshelves and a TV in the living area and vaulted ceilings on the first floor, giving it a large, open feel. The living area is great for entertaining or game night with the kids after a day at the beach. The dining room seats 6, with additional bar seating for 3, and kitchen seating for 4. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you'll need including a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, stove, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, and more.
The home is air-conditioned with ceiling fans to provide extra comfort, and has free wi-fi. Also included is a propane grill, pool/beach toys, beach chairs, and a golf cart to whisk you to the beach.
The community is in a beautifully landscaped area adjacent to Bon Secours National Wildlife Refuge, and features nature walks, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis/pickleball courts, bike paths, clubhouse, Gulf front pool, sauna, hot tubs, and exercise room.

We love staying at The Martinique and this time was no exception, only with a few hiccups. This was our first time booking outside private owner or VRBO and paying $58 for ONE parking pass and $308 for a cleaning fee was very excessive IMO. The house was not cleaned well enough for that price. Our feet were black after walking on the floors, spider webs, and mold in the upstairs tub. Also, bring extra toilet tissue, paper towel, etc. The property as a whole was very nice though. Clean pool, landscaping and the beach wasn't crowded at all!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed staying at Caribe at Martinique on the Gulf! It provided everything needed for a pleasant stay- fully stocked kitchen, W/D, tv, games, etc. We would definitely return. Opportunities for improvement: unit had been cleaned a few days before our arrival, I believe. There were a few cobwebs on the baseboards, the 1/2 bath had a sewer smell from non-use but the smell went away once we used the bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The furnishings were nice and comfortable. We would recommend this home to anyone, and we would stay in it again. The only update we would suggest is a newer TV in Great Room. We found the audio of very poor quality
