Winterland Chalet is the ideal mountain getaway. This 750 sq foot cabin is nestled in the heart of Big Bear Lake. Enjoy a fully enclosed yard, private sled hill, spa, fire pit, BBQ and views of Bear Mountain & Snow Summit. A mile to the slopes, lake, shopping, dining and restaurants. Walking distance to the Bear Mountain Shuttle, zoo & central Moonridge. 5 min from Oktoberfest! Bring your furry family member and enjoy no pet fee. Enjoy this newly renovated chalet in the prestigious area of Moonridge. This A- frame style home has ground floor master with King bed and a 2nd floor loft bedroom with magnificent mountain views. Laundry available for your convenience. The outdoor space inspired our name, "Winterland". You, your family and 4 legged friends ( dogs only) can enjoy the gorgeous outdoors, BBQ, spa, hammock, tire swing and completely fenced yard. As long as mother nature provides - enjoy the private sled hill on the property. We provide the sleds! A Nest thermostat, an A/C split, high speed internet and loaded Roku Smart TV are just some of the additional amenities offered. No steep driveways. Flat and level parking. Air Conditioning split - this is a rare find in Big Bear and a welcome addition in the Summer. The split is only in the living room and kitchen as it cools down greatly at night.
Heater - The furnace is in the living room and passes through a vent to the bedroom. There is a portable heater provided if needed for the bedroom, but you should get a very comfortable night's rest.

This is our favorite part of the home. In the Winter months enjoy the huge, private snow play and sled area in the front yard. Sleds provided.

DOGS - We feel that our pets are a part of our family and therefore do not charge an additional pet fee. Please be considerate and up front if you feel your pet may not be suitable for our cabin. We have nice furnishings and would like to continue providing this level of accommodations for our families and pets alike. We appreciate all of our responsible pet owners. Rest assured, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness is our priority.

Beautiful place to enjoy a peaceful getaway in the mountains. Great location near the ski slopes if that is your destination and well situated for enjoying the lake, village and hiking trails. Our dogs felt welcome and enjoyed their first real vacation along with us. Cozy place with fantastic backyard. Jennifer the owner was so helpful and kept in communication to make sure our stay was great. Highly recommend!We will be back to enjoy more of Big Bear and this great vacation home soon!

This was a charming property with a lot of extra things, including hot cocoa for my son, which he absolutely loved, the house manual, which tells you all about the area, coffee, and tea, nice things like dog bowls for our dog and games for our family to play. It was a lovely place to stay and I can see myself staying there again. They really do go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and at home.

This is the best Vrbo we have ever experienced. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, many extra touches, big yard, hot tub, outside table/chairs, fire pit. Comfortable living room, upgraded bedding, even dog bed & blankets. We are unable to suggest any improvements.
