Come visit us in Portsmouth, NH, one of the most vibrant, functional and picture perfect coastal towns in New England.
Upon arrival the keys will be under the floor mat on the 2nd floor and a House Info. Booklet that should answer most of your questions will be on the dining room table.
Our home has been completely renovated, has all new furniture and all the amenities and we strive to make your stay as comfortable as you would be in your own home.. In our house you will find:
-- Wood or tile floors in every room.
-- Comfortable queen sized beds, closet and bureau space and extra linens in both well appointed bedrooms.
-- A fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, linens, dinnerware and plenty of cabinet space.
-- A newly remodeled, state of the art, tile and glass shower in the bathroom ( no bathtub ).
-- A natural light filled, beautifully designed dining room that seats 6 easily.
-- A tastefully designed living room with comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV with Cable and Netflix.
-- A comfortable office where you can hookup your computer to our WIFI network and work in a quiet space.
-- A modern heating system and brand new central air - Toasty in Winter and cool in Summer.
-- Front and rear decks with chairs and tables - What better place for evening cocktails!
-- Dedicated parking available for 2 autos, 1 in garage, 1 outside.
Our 1000 + S.F. spacious condo is located in the very desirable Little Harbor residential area right behind the S. Mill Tidal Pond and just a short 10 min. walk to Market Square in the heart of town. In this eclectic and functional town you will find:
-- More coffee houses and restaurants ( many w outside seating ), local craft breweries, and unique shops than you can count.
-- An active, functional harbor area - Stroll the port and watch the ocean going freighters unload.
-- Prescott Park, an oasis of beautiful flowers that will dazzle your senses.
-- The historic Strawberry Banks area, literally Williamsburg in miniature.
-- Streets and harbor areas to explore that will take you back 100 years.
-- Numerous cultural attractions that delight the senses and enrich the spirit - A must see is a performance at the " Music Hall" a refurbished gem of the past.
In addition to the town's wonderful attractions come visit:
-- The restaurants in Maine - Just walk over the Memorial Bridge to enjoy iconic seafood places like Warren's
-- The Maine ( 15 mins. ) and New Hampshire ( 5 mins. ) coastlines - Smell the sea air and take in the magnificent views.

--We have 2 pet dogs. While we use separate bedding for guests and the house is cleaned thoroughly between visits, people with pet allergies might want to reconsider staying at our place.

The apartment was perfect for my needs. It was clean and well equipped. I enjoyed the ease of walking to town through the park, and the on-site parking was a plus. The neighbors are very friendly. The exterior and stairwell need sprucing up (which I understand will happen this year), but you will be pleasantly surprised by the contrast when you enter the apartment. It's a beautiful classic apartment in an older building.

I had a wonderful time at your lovely condo. Felt right at home as soon as I opened the door. Easy access to all the amenities Portsmouth, New Hampshire has to offer. I especially enjoyed walking to Prescott Park. The gardens were beautiful. It was easy to contact, Jeanne and Jim, about anything at anytime.

I loved this apartment- it is sunny and spacious. I spent a lot of time on the front porch, watching the neighbors come and go. The bed was really comfy, the water pressure in the roomy shower was super, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Jim and Jeanne are terrific hosts- easily accessible and full of great suggestions. I would return in a heartbeat.

Condo was within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth, Strawbery Banke and Prescott Park. It was close to the old colonial homes near the water and a quick walk over the bridge into Maine. The condo was updated and clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of kitchen appliances and utensil. Market Basket, the local supermarket, was close-by, and Trader Joe's and Whole Foods was in the next town.
The nearest beach was a 20 minute drive. All in all, it was a pleasure to stay at this condo and to enjoy all the amenities it had to offer.
