The owner Yvona was extremely welcoming, offering us a very warm welcome. You reach the city within 10 mn quietly. The upper flat has everything you need. A huge terrace you can do your barbecue. The aircon is in the living room, but you can open your bedroom door at night, then you have the fresh air inside your room, which is more suitable for me. I do recommend this flat. Thanks for your kindness Yvona!

Everything was ok

I cannot state how amazing this place is. Every touch is unique and beautiful. The use of our own private pool was amazing and made the stay so enjoyable. It was so easy to unwind and relax here. The bedrooms are so comfy and the balcony with terrace perfect for evening dinner. We will be back soon as we loved it so much. The host was brilliant as well and very helpful and friendly.

We were met by the property owner who lives on site below the apartment. She was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and went out of her way to provide local information and ensure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was pleasant, being well equipped and clean, with stunning views of the sunset from the balcony. The newly refurbished pool area was luxurious and very tastefully designed, with a shaded area to relax around. The location was only a short 10 minute walk into the centre of Vela Luka, which has several nice restaurants (we recommend Pizzeria Alfa especially for very reasonably priced and tasty food) and a busy harbour. We really enjoyed snorkelling from the local stony beaches and recommend a day boat trip to the Island of Proizd which was beautiful.

The extra sofa bed was a little uncomfortable to sleep on as the mattress sagged in the middle. All the other beds were very comfortable. It would be helpful if the owner could set up on-line payment in the future rather than cash payment, which would have been slightly easier for us.

Host was very friendly

We booked an apartment with Poolview (description booking.com) as we are a family with small children, all photos on booking. com show pool. When we arrived we were told that only the ground floor apartment could use the pool so we ended up looking at a pool but couldn't use it. Host referred to booking confirmation e-mail in which the last sentence was mentioned, swimming pool not possible
