5/5 A great little place.
"I stayed at Zoka’s place for a few nights while in Whitby. While to location was a bit of a walking distance to the downtown area (20 minutes or so), by vehicle it was only about 5min. The area was very quiet. The apartment is in the basement and had all the features on would need for a great stay. Zoka lived upstairs with her family and was barely noticeable. Overall, I would stay at Zokas place again and would recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet place to stay".

10 / 10Outstanding·Jul 2026
Second time staying here at Zoka’s place and it was great. A great little place suitable for one or two people. Zoka came out to meet us upon arrival and was very hospitable. Overall, I would highly recommend her place to stay and would stay here myself in the future.
10 / 10Outstanding·Jun 2026
We stayed here for a mini holiday from Saturday till Tuesday morning. We got to meet our lovely host and she was very kind and down to earth. Her place was exactly like it was described and we greatly enjoyed our stay. It was nice coming back here at the end of each day trip, feeling at home and with a calming atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped for when we wanted to cook, temperature was nice in the space, played a few games of pool, the tv is setup well with the usual streaming services and the shower was amazing. Very spa like and the provided shampoo and conditioner made my hair so soft. All in all we can’t wait to someday come back here - it was so amazing and such a great price. The host and her husband who we had a brief conversation with while heading out somewhere are genuinely nice people and just want to give travellers some where comfortable to stay that’s not expensive. We were very happy with our stay and our choice in this location.
