Cozy, historic 1-bedroom cabin in Leadville’s West Park neighborhood—perfect for a mountain getaway, ski trip, or summer adventure. Originally built as a Climax Mine cabin, the home has plenty of character along with modern comfort.
Relax by the gas fireplace after a day outside, cook in the fully stocked kitchen, or enjoy the fenced backyard with a fire pit, picnic table, and propane grill. The cabin sleeps up to 3 guests with a queen bed and is dog-friendly.
You will be about a mile from downtown Leadville, 15 minutes from Ski Cooper, and roughly 25 minutes from Copper Mountain. Smart TVs, WiFi, streaming apps, and a small movie collection are all included.
Whether you are here to ski, hike, bike, fish, or just unplug in the mountains, this is a comfortable home base close to everything Leadville has to offer.

While this was a very basic stay, you have everything you need for a successful trip. I would not recommend this place for an extended stay because this home is "cozy" but not in a very comfortable way. The house itself is pretty old and in desperate need of some cosmetic updating (appliances, paint, etc.) and deep cleaning. However, the backyard was lovely for our dog and to grill out.
