Apartment 2 rooms for 4 people recently renovated, spacious, sunny, comfortable, functional and with a huge terrace overlooking the bay of Roses.
Located in a quiet area of Castelló d'Empúries, medieval town with important historical center and must-see: Cathedral, medieval ensemble and Ecomuseo de la Farinera.
The municipality of Castelló d'Empúries has, with almost 7 km. of beaches, a wide coastal strip of high natural interest, included in part in the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, one of the most emblematic natural areas from where you can see really exceptional fauna: otter, fallow deer, purple swamp, bittern .. .
Two kilometers from the county town, Empúria-brava, one of the most extensive and original tourist enclaves of the Mediterranean for the urban structure based on a network of navigable channels that total more than thirty kilometers in length, has a good infrastructure offer and maritime, sports and recreational activities: fishing, parachuting (wind tunnel), tennis, windsurfing, minigolf, sailing, kaiac, cycling, scuba diving, horse riding, hiking ...
The region of Alt Empordà is very touristy especially for the Costa Brava, with its wide sandy beaches and secluded coves of great beauty, but also has other attractions: quaint fishing villages (l'Escala, Llançà, Port of Selva ...) archaeological nuclei (Empúries, Roses ...) Antonia and Llorenç were incredible hosts, among the best we have stayed with and we HomeAway a lot. They were kind and thoughtful and generous. They gave us great tips on the area, which is really lovely. They were interesting and easy to talk to. They left us local salami, a loaf of fresh bread and some local beers for our first night. Antonia took the time to show us how to use the washer and gave us extra detergent, which was great being several days into a two week road trip with 4 people.
The flat, we can’t say enough good things about. It was sparkling clean and really comfortable. It was stocked with everything you might need. It had a proper living room with a great couch and chairs, as well as an indoor dining area, eat-in kitchen and a large terrace with shaded area and table/chairs for 4. The two bedrooms have terrific windows, beds, and plenty of space. The pool was gorgeous and honestly the garden area was the nicest I have seen at a HomeAway. It was immaculate and beautifully landscaped. We can’t wait to go back! If you want an amazing beach vacation with wonderful people in a top notch flat, look no further!
