About this cottage rental
The house is located in the village of Soito, in the municipality of Góis, in the Vale do Rio Ceira area, in the heart of the Serra do Açor, 500 meters from this river of pure and crystalline waters. It is an ideal place to live with nature and recover the energies essential to life. The village of Soito is located in the territory of Aldeias do Xisto.
In addition to the Ceira River, the area has several courses of pure water and stunning vegetation.
The village of Soito is mostly rebuilt in schist, has a small museum and living space, as well as numerous places of rare beauty, including a natural pool / pool.
The house has a living area of about 60 m2 and capacity for 4 people, including a bedroom with a bed for two people, a living room also with a sofa bed for 2 people, as well as a kitchen and bathroom. We also have a cot for children.
It is fully equipped, including bed linen, towels, crockery, stove, fridge, microwave, television, internet, grill, etc.
It has a large outdoor space (about 100 m2), including a terrace with a small table and chairs and a lawn space.
If you need to wash personal clothes you can ask the person who takes care of the house (extra payment).

Really enjoyed our stay here. The weather happened to be very warm while we were there. The pool full of cold mountain water together with the heat turned into a spa like experience. Would definitely go back.

Antonio was very accommodating, he gave us a personal tour of the museum and chapel in the village. The community pool was very refreshing. A remote village, perfect for a rejuvenating vacation.

Nice and clean house. You will find everything you need inside. But outside is the real treasure. The view from the house is amazing and there is a big outside area to enjoy. We really loved our stay here.
Would recommend getting groceries in a larger city (like Gois). Because the village is very small, though very cute!

What a special place! Just loved our short stay at this house... perfect location in the village with a fabulous view! Particularly loved watching the birds swooping in the valley and the light as it changed. Very peaceful. House is simple but absolutely adequate.
We also enjoyed having the neighbourhood cats visit us, but that might not be to everyone’s liking. Cat-haters take note!!
