The panoramic view of Kachemak Bay from Turkington Estate's private 28 acres is one of the most breathtaking views you can experience while visiting Homer. Grewingk Glacier, Poots Peak, Gull Island, the Homer Spit and more; they're all visible!
Guests might enjoy going for a stroll around the property exploring the various flora that grows wild, picking a snack of wild raspberries from the raspberry patch in the late summer and fall, sit out on the deck and watch the sun set in the late summer evenings or read the diary entries and view photos from the Turkington family's adventures to Alaska in Model A's from Connecticut 70 years ago.

This is the second time we stayed at this place. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. It has a beautiful view of kachemak Bay and plenty room for 6 people.
