About this apartment rental

This sweet original, 1937 Private One Bedroom Small Apartment with efficiency kitchen is up 7 steps from the home with its own private entrance and space. In the kitchen you will have updated copper counter tops. The kitchen has many amenities and efficiency appliances that include a convection toaster oven, a small refrigerator and freezer, (a larger one is available for your use in the laundry room) a dishwasher, air fryer and induction plate and microwave. Everything you need is here to cook your own food. Included is a small electric grill out in the garden. Laundry is available and I supply the sheets of soap and use wool balls for softener. Beautiful Downtown Loveland is walking distance away (7 blocks) as is Lake Loveland, the River Walk and River's Edge Ponds where fishing is available with a license. Lots of storage space and closet space is included. Umbrellas are available for the rare days it rains. The farmers market which is on Sunday is a short drive away at Fairgrounds Park. My guesthouse is Air Conditioned and comfortably heated. This listing has shared access to the all outdoor garden seating areas which include a screened in porch with a table and chairs and glider. There is an outdoor table with chairs and umbrella, a bistro set by your entrance and on your deck and a private area in the shade under the spruce tree, as well as a private front deck with a bistro set to watch the world go by. I live in the home but strive to maintain your privacy and am often away. My home will be on the Loveland Garden and Art Tour this year on June 14th, so you will be treated to a reconditioned garden. This is the 3rd time it will be on the tour first in 2006, then 2013 and then 2025. Included in the home, guesthouse and garden are hundreds of pieces of art. Many of them are created by local artists. A lot of the garden art was bought on the Loveland Garden and Art Tours. I garden organically and maintain compost piles for your use when you are here. I strive to keep my water use down planting low water plants when at all possible and using drip watering for most of the garden. You will have a lovely pond to sit by when you want to relax. It is often visited by wildlife, why just this Spring I have witnessed a pair of mallard ducks on the pond, a turkey, and a coppers hawk standing by the pond. I try to keep small fish in the pond, but feel guilty when a blue heron swoops in to claim them, but what a sight that is to see. When you arrive, you will park in a Private well lit garden alley entrance and have your own entrance to the property. This beautiful space is close to the Sprouts, Natural Grocers and Safeway. It is a short driving distance to the famous Benson Sculpture Park and Chapunga Sculpture Park. It is only an easy 10 minutes to get into the Big Thompson Canyon, the gateway to Estes Park. We are in the downtown, so be aware there is a train that sometimes goes by two blocks away. Many people like the train but if you are a light sleeper I have for you a light noise machine and earplugs. It usually only goes through once at night and many guests love the evocative sound of the I have had one guest comment they did not. OF NOTE, THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR VERY TALL GUESTS, AS IT HAS LOWER CEILINGS, though it is very light and airy. I would say if you are over 6 ft 3 you will be ducking to get through doorways. Please make reservations to visit RMNP from May to October. There is timed entry. I have a list of hikes from my friend who is a ranger available to you when you arrive. I am a very active person and have a lot of recommendations if you want to go other places that are close. Fort Collins for instance has Lory State Park and Horsetooth Reservoir, these are about 30-35 minutes away from here. Wyoming is a great place to visit, specifically Cheyenne and Laramie, both about an hour away.

Lynn was a very kind host! Her property is lovely and the location is ideal for all activities in the area. She has all you need to prep meals and relax. It’s easily accessible for days in RMNP and the Loveland Ft Collins areas.

It was such an amazing place to stay! Close enough to walk into town, 15 minute drive from the airport, and about an hour from Rocky Mountain National Park. It was so cozy and just walking in you felt right at home, with personal touches found everywhere. The outdoor area was quiet and perfect for unwinding after a long day. Lynn was amazing and had good, clear communication the whole time. We definitely plan on staying here again!

Beautifully maintained rental and property. The sculpture-accented pollinator garden was a visual and spiritual treat.
