Nestled among towering pines and abundant wildlife, this spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 2 living room cabin offers the perfect escape for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with rustic charm combined with modern amenities. The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, a 2 story natural stone gas fireplace, log interior, comfortable furnishings, and large windows that flood the space with natural light and offer breathtaking views. Fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of room to prepare delicious meals for your family and friends. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table with seating for everyone, or take the feast outside to the expansive covered deck, where you can dine al fresco while soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. After a day of adventure on the lake or National Park , retreat to one of the five cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed with plush bedding and ample storage space. Three of the bedrooms have king sized beds! There's plenty of room for everyone to refresh and rejuvenate. Outside, the fun continues with close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park or the 3 lakes that surround the Grand Lake area. Our property is located in the private lake community called Columbine Lake. The community grounds offer a great walking opportunity around the private lake(approx 1.25 miles) Enjoy the amazing views and watch out for moose!
Summer activities:
-Rocky Mountain National Park is just a few miles from this property. You can find plenty of hiking trails(see our adventure guide for specifics on each trail) or just drive through the gorgeous backcountry. Make a day trip into Estes Park by driving through the National Park.
-Lake life. Boat, fish or swim in Colorado's largest natural lake. There are 3 lakes to choose from: Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby. See our adventure guide for more specific info/activities on each lake.
-Off roading: Use your own vehicle or rent UTVs to tour hundreds of. miles of off road trails right behind our cabin.
-Golf: Our property is located adjacent to Grand Lake Golf course
-Shopping in Old Town Grand Lake
-Mountain bike at the world renowned MTB trails of Winter Park.
Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake.” Plan on using one of the other three lakes (Grand, Granby and Shadow Mountain) for all your lake activities. Keep in mind when booking, that this property is located in a quiet neighborhood with owner residents.

The cabin was a perfect size for the 11 guests we had in our group. We had 5 adults and 6 kids, ages ranging from 4-12. Having 2 floors plus the basement was nice so I could put my 4 year old to bed upstairs and everyone could carryon without worrying about waking him up. The big kids all slept downstairs in the bunk room and room next to that in the basement. It felt like plenty of room but still cozy. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, we cooked every meal. Would absolutely stay again! The hosts were very responsive to questions and check in was easy. Thank you!

Great house to gather with friends and family. Plenty of outdoor sitting as well as indoors. The host does a terrific job at providing those little items that you forget to pack. We plan on utilizing the house again in the future.

Took our group of high school runners and were able to cook, play games and explore the area, while get in training. Very comfortable space. Adam was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful home
